  1. Shit, that sucks. Was it a freak accident, or suicide as you presumed originally. Not that one is necessarily better than the other, but I can't imagine the guilt put on one's family if it was suicide.
  2. Damn. Hadn't heard that. My whole family was a fan.
  3. It's like this gif was made for this comment. Being used unoptimally until now.
  4. I hear there's a plan in place to address that. It mostly involves grown adults that haven't played football in 25 years and haven't coached anyone past the age of 12. Oh, and BBQ.
  5. Not really all that difficult to track. More of an observation thing.
  6. An intervention for QB1 by some helicopter parents to tell him he's shitty and needs to improve? You really can't make this up. Guess there's not too much faith in the coaching staff. The dads have got this!!
  7. Legit LOL. That's going to the vault.
  8. How about just a picture?
  9. That article seemed a bit all over the place, but I didn't see anything about the more traditional backdoor Roth IRA as opposed to the "mega" verson. I use the $6k backdoor Roth IRA every year. Hope that doesn't go away.
  10. Outstanding summary that my wife is seeing play out where she works. They are severely understaffed on Medical Assistants. For her office, they furloughed a bunch of people for just 1 month last year, and that was the trigger for the shitshow they're in now. Government assistant was close enough to what they were getting paid minus childcare, plus they are more available to the family. The office manager says they get very few good applicants, and even when they hire someone, there is always someone else quitting, so you're in a constant cycle of turnover and training average to below average MAs. Add on top of that people generally suck, so patient complaints are on the rise. Office morale isn't great to say the least.
  11. I guess you can file this under "no matter how hot she is, some guy somewhere is tired of fucking her." I love visiting SF. It's probably my favorite American city. The food, the parks, the seemingly endless things to do. I get there are plenty of warts, and I have no idea how livable the city actually is. A buddy of mine loved his 4 years of residency.
  12. Haven't been to many on that list, but my list of enjoyable cities is largely based on how nice it is to visit, as I couldn't imagine living there simply due to cost of living or ability to find a job. Now, if I'm well compensated to make up for it, or on an ex-pat assignment and finding a job isn't an issue, then game on. I would love to live in any of these. in no particular order: SF London Singapore Barcelona Christchurch
  13. They even went back to review it. God that's bad
  14. No chance in hell you make that comeback and say "yea, let's play for overtime". Actually, do they have overtime in highschool, or would that have been a tie? A tie is even fucking worse. 2pts was the ONLY call to make there. Also, this belongs in the "holy shit" thread
  15. I'm not sure how any ex-Horn can dislike Brian Jones. He is still a 100% Longhorn homer, but it doesn't blind him. I look forward to every interview he does on Austin local radio, and I love watching him on TV.
  16. Actually, for folks that have been to both, if I've been to Amalfi Coast, do I need to see Cinque Terre? We spent 4 full days, or maybe 5, in Furore in September 2019 and had the best time. Day trips to both Capri and Pompeii, hiked the Path of the Gods both ways and ate lunch at a Michellin star restaurant between the trips, swam in the Mediterranean Sea, farted around the town of Amalfi. I feel like we missed enough stuff that we could go back for several days and not repeat anything we did. From the pictures, Amalfi Coast looks similar to Cinque Terre, but I'm curious how similar they really are.
  17. Reminds me of Amalfi Coast, without the road connecting the towns.
  18. Captain or no Captain, right now we're just 2 assholes stuck on the hood of the car.
  19. First thing I thought of
  20. Fuck. Had no idea he was sick. Don't see any reports of what type of cancer. 9 years he batted it privately. Fuck, that's a gut punch.
  21. I love Rome. I'm mesmerized by the history of it. I get that it's a big city and maybe the food isn't as good as Tuscany or the coastal areas, but it's fun to walk around and get lost in the history for 3-4 days.
  22. Also, I just found a fairly close-up picture of her online, and her eyes are brown. False alarm. But rotating hot pussy for Stockton confirmed.
  23. Well for starters I didn't say "buddy". I haven't seen him in a numbers of years but would still consider him a friend. And second...no. This world is way too small and this website is way too connected, and I don't need a call asking why I plastered someone face on the internet.
  24. It really is. I've recommended to to a ton of people.
  25. Not sure which year you're referring to, but it had to be 1999 when a friend of mine started dating an insanely hot blonde chick who had just broken up with Stockton. No idea if it's the same girl, or possibly the one before or after the one you're referring to. He could have had a revolving door of hot blonde chicks. Strangely enough, that friend of mine is a doctor as well, and they are married.
