  1. Is there hyper-growth expected that would push the stock up 60-70x over it's current price? Uplisting doesn't mean the price will go up.
  2. So what's the story on them? Looks like stock price has been slowly degrading over time. What'll it take for it to hit $1 again?
  3. I am subscribed to your newsletter. In for 75k shares.
  4. Well shit, any Bond lover could have told you that. FRWL and Thunderball are Connery's best IMO.
  5. So what's the prevailing thought on ALPP upside? Is this a "it's going to 5 or it's going to 0" sort of deal? Or "if it hits $.25 GTFO ASAP"? I'm going all in in this thread. I feel like I've missed a once-in-a-40-year opportunity to severely shrink my retirement age. Stocks like DIN and DENN were down 80%, and I waited too long to pull the trigger to get in. I'm up, but could be up more than 2x. Same with HTZ. I've been crazy busy at work and didn't bother to look at the stock until last week. Shit was below $1 for a while, and I didn't fucking notice. I did buy some at $2.50. Long term I think that will work out, though.
  6. If I'm going for a serious ride in the summer, I try to be on the bike by 8:30-9am. I want to be finished no later than 10-10:30am. Anything later than that and it's too hot to be fun.
  7. Can't argue with that. Didn't like that I had to get up and go wait in line if I wanted another one, though. I had to look up what EVO is. I'm pretty excited about that. I was actually thinking just the other day what a shame it is that there is no bowling alley close by. My kids love Wii bowling. Surprised it took this long with all the expansion in the area over the past 10 years.
  8. The only thing I liked about that place was the location. Food was pretty disgusting.
  9. You do you.
  10. Everything else you wrote is spot on. But this is just fucking stupid. Makes your opinion on the subject feel a little hollow since it's clear you have an ax to grind. And I'm not a cyclist btw.
  11. Well, the Dems were just slightly less retarded up until 2020. So I'm not sure it really calls for a victory lap. Curious what the numbers showed for prior years--maybe the poll didn't exist them. In case it needs clarification, the American public in general is fucking stupid, and it crosses both aisles.
  12. Desperate times call for desperate measures. I'm going to wash my car.
  13. Uh, they have these things called gas stations. If you're off the beaten path, then pee in the grass. Have you never taken a road trip with your kids? I guess I take it for granted that we've been driving to CO every summer since our youngest was born. We now have 3 boys, ages 3, 5, and 8.
  14. Is my sarcasm meter broken?
  15. It's like we're all married to the same woman
  16. It's funny you say that. I live out in Driftwood and have seen a few in the 8 years we've been out here. But 3 days ago one slithered right past my dog's foot and into the brush as he was taking a shit (the dog, not the snake). Couldn't have been more than 3 feet from me and I didn't notice it until it moved. Then within 48 hours, there were 2 posts on Nextdoor of coral snakes in people's yards. Dumbasses killed them. That of course incited a pissing match.

    Metallica

Why does Lars look like he's holding in explosive diarrhea during the entire song?
  18. I say this knowing that I'd rather covid-19 never had happened, but shit has been pretty fucking good. I'm in phenomenal shape from not having to travel for work and not eating out. Plus I get in extra walks, runs, or bike rides each week. Also very diligent about lifting weights a couple of times each week. I get 1-1.5hrs extra sleep per night. Wife was furloughed 3 weeks ago so I don't have to manage the kids schooling, and it's been great just being home as a family. Wife has really gotten into cooking again. We usually cook a lot at home, but I work full time and she works 3x per week, so weekdays were for easy healthy meals, and big productions used to only happen on the weekend. Not now. Homemade bread for sandwiches, bagels, baguettes, pretzels. She is knocking it out. Plus the kids have taken an interest. Just last week the 5 year old took charge on a bolognese, 8 year old made carbonara, and wife made homemade pizza (except for the cheese, everything was made from scratch). I am still employed. I have gotten a ton of shit done around the house. Taxes, mowing and bagging a huge yard twice so I could airate and fertilize, mulched the flower beds, weeded, trimmed trees, serviced the John Deere, washed and oiled the outdoor furniture. Next on the list for this week is repair a couple of panels of the fence, and then reorganize the garage. Shit, we even camped as a family in the backyard last night. We haven't done that in years. Washers, fire, s'mores, games in the tent...it was a fucking blast. So I guess, yea, I am enjoying myself.
  19. Helobious will get the gist of that reference.
  20. We have a bunch of William-Sonoma cook books, and my 5 year old son was looking through the Pasta book last week. He came across Bolognese and insisted on making it. It was really fun. He helped at every step of he way. Ours was more of less like Landomatic's with the exception that we used a mix of pork and beef, and we omitted any tomoato product. he hates tomato, and since he was the chef on this one, he got to make the decisions. The 8 year old then looked through the book and found Carbonara. I've never made it, so I plan on pretty much copying the steps taken by Landomatic, with the changes to ratios he mentions. Looks great.
  21. I got fuck all in Driftwood.
  22. But how do they catch on fire in the garage?
  23. Couldn't you use that logic on just about anything you cook? Bread, hamburgers, ice cream, etc. Cooking can be fun, and it will likely taste better than the cheap shit at a fast food place. There's a reason it's cheap.
  24. Actually this is why I decided to give up alcohol while we are working and teaching from home. After Spring Break, it seemed like it would be really easy to start drinking at 3-4pm and not stopping until bed. Wife and decided to give up alcohol for the time being. I'm really looking forward to having a 512 IPA.
