    Disagrees with what?
  2. I had to double check which forum I was in before clicking on a thread about bacon started by Vic. Honestly 1-3 looks disgusting. 4 looks great, 5 looks good if going on a BLT or burger, and 6 looks cancerous.

It really doesn't seem that hard. Add commercials to anything watched through the app. You can control, document, and collect advertising dollars through it. What's the point of not making shows available?

And after further investigation, only 7 episodes from the first 3 seasons are available through the app.

There's an IFC app? Fuck me. Usually I just tag a show and the back catalog comes up. I tried using the USA app to get all the Shooter episodes, but they weren't all there, which makes no fucking sense. Do you want me to watch your damn show or not?

I'm not going to read this thread because I don't want to see spoilers, but I don't know how in the hell I never discovered this fucking genius of a show. I happened to catch a couple of episodes on a flight home from Europe in Feb, and the synopsis looked interesting enough. Holy shit I was blown away. I've only been able to watch through half of S2, but I'm stuck because YouTubeTV doesn't have the back catalog. I've recorded all the S3 episodes, but I don't have a way to watch the back half of S2. Hopefully my United flight out to Germany in May will have them. This is one of my favorite shows ever, and the Brockmire character has to be one of my Top 10 characters ever.
  7. I'd rather they keep Jimbo and go 9-4 every year. Nothing about his last years at FSU or his start at Aggy has impressed me. But the Aggy schedule will guarantee 8-4 every year, with only a few outliers above and below that.
  8. They've got plenty of money in their are that can be spent. And I didn't feel the need to spend mine. I thought it was cool to have 20 year old coins and it sparked interest in me and made me want to research what the coins were. Now those coins are 50+ years old. My kids are savvy enough to appreciate that.
  9. The Tooth Fairy always left me Ike Dollars, and I've kept them all these years (I'm almost 42). I've started giving them to my kids when they lose teeth. I guess I need to be sure they don't actually spend them. I found a couple of steel pennies in my collection as well when I went through it looking for the Ikes. And a ton of Kennedy half dollars from the 60's. I'm almost out of the Ikes, so they'll be getting the Kennedys pretty soon.
  10. Do you work at The Horn? He was on in the afternoon for a while.
  11. Honestly I thought this was a euphemism and I clicked on the thread expecting to read about his death.
  12. Not sure how I missed this story. Wish I never found it. I think I may throw up.
  13. I think Torchy's is the only place on that entire bracket that I've eaten at in the last 5 years. And I'm not sure I've had Torchy's in 18 months. Only reason I point that out is to show that I'm better than you guys.
  14. Looks like they are ready for some MACtion.

  17. I have no idea how I missed this post. No surprise is right. That guy is a Grade A douchebag, and Rivalries posters worshiped him. I haven't posted or lurked there in years, but I remember his posts reeking of superiority and condescension. I get that it was Rivalries, but his posts were different than other trash talking (which could be quite funny), and there was always something I couldn't put my finger on. Like he was overcompensating. Then out of the blue TexAgs starts putting him on their radio program and sent him to Aggy's first SEC media days. I remember he spent an inordinate amount of time trying to troll Texas fans by making 80% of his random interview questions about the Longhorns. It was at that point that I questioned if that guy even had a job, much less was a lawyer. He looked like a bowling alley cashier and he posted ALL THE TIME. And then he finds time to do TexAgs radio and go to SEC media days, where all he could talk about was Texas. This all makes so much sense. I hadn't thought about him in years, but this really brightened my day.
  18. I've always wondered how these people explain the difference between day and night. I've never wondered enough to actually read their theories, but it seems like a logical place to start if I ever meet one.
  19. Thanks. Have some rep
  20. Intuitively that doesn't make sense to me. Home favorites win at a higher rate than road favorites, although I guess home favorites likely have a higher average spread than road favorites. With no home/away distinction, what I saw was 8 point favorites win 80% of the time, and 10 point favorites 88% of the time. I assumed the home side of that was a bit higher. Anyway, the reason I'm asking is because I'm trying a new strategy where I parlay 5-6 money lines in which I take only home favorites in the 8-10 point range. Depending on the exact line, you get ~1.5 : 1 odds on that type of parlay. My sample size is low, but so far it's paying off. If there are any HUGE home favorites, I'll throw those on top just because, but the core part of the strategy is 5-6 home teams in the 8-10 point spread range.
  21. Does anyone know a good site to get analysis on ATS, W/L, home/away, etc results for college basketball this season? I'm specifically interested in finding straight-up W/L% for home teams favored by 8-10 points. I found something that had straight-up win% based on what the spread was, but there was no way to further filter home vs away. Curious if there is some master set of data available or you can pay for and analyze from various angles.
  22. My Aunt died over the weekend of Pancreatic cancer. Diagnosed 4 years ago @ Stage 4. A bit of a miracle she lasted as long as she did. The kick in the teeth was she was diagnosed 3 months after burying my uncle, who died of Mesothelioma. He lasted 3 years. It got me thinking that their kids (my cousins) have spent the last 7 years of their life caring for a parent they knew had a death sentence. Fucking brutal. They are ~33 and 35 now, so that is prime years of their life likely spent in sadness. I think they met both of their spouses around the same time my uncle was diagnosed, so that's been all they know. My hope is they can start to live the life they haven't really had a chance to the past 7 years.

  24. Even after about my 500th viewing, all those old videos are better than 95% of what's posted in this thread.
  25. I mean, it sounds like a goat getting castrated...or at least that's how I imagine a goat sounding when it's nuts get chopped off. How those news people weren't doubled in laughter over is truly amazing. Pure professionals, although their concern was clearly fake. Grape Lady must not be well liked at the office.
