What are you talking about!? You really donāt know college football if you want to give up a coach who has gone 24-2 in two years for a 73 year old coach who hasnāt coached in college since he was in his late 50s. Your other posts are absurdly glass half empty and full of pandering to these UT fans who donāt know better. I get strong bandwagon Seahawks fan vibes from you. Sounds like you are now hopping on the Husky bandwagon after you probably thought they would lose all year and not make the CFP. Please stop embarrassing yourself and UW. And please donāt come to NOLA, but given your confidence, I donāt think you will be there.

This is an intelligent view. I think there are years where it is clear that one team is better than the other in the CFP and the only hope is for the lesser team to play perfect and the better team to play shitty. UW v Bama in 2016, Bama v MSU the year before, etc. That isnāt this game. I, and many national analysts, like our passing game against your pass D and that is why I have confidence. But there is always risk Penix is off and that edge is neutralized to an extent. I think the key to your victory is getting Penix to make bad throws and stuff the running game. If that happens our path to victory gets very narrow. If our OL protects annd run blocks and Penix is on his game then your path narrows. The best versions of UT and UW are likely to show up and it will be a close game. (But being honest, i am hoping for a shitty version of TX v best version of UW).

We both donāt know till we play. What is especially fun this year is I think every team has a chance or argument that they will win it all. That has never yet been the case in the CFP. I still remember the faint hope I had getting trampled by Bo Scarborough and Alabama mid way through the 2nd quarter of when we played them in 2016. This year is different. January 1 canāt come soon enough!

No doubt you guys improved. So to recap we both got new RBs and expect better play from both. Both have improved lines. Your D Line improved more than ours but our OL improved more than yours and we added a freshman all American at center. Your QB and improved and you upped your WR core but both are not at our level. We both have suspect to serviceable secondaries and we both have good LBs with an elite player in each unit. So just roughly here is a breakdown. QB: Washington RB: even TE: Texas WR: Washington OL: Washington DL: Texas LB: even secondary: even pretty even matchup with the killer being our QB, OL, and receivers being the best combo in the country. The only position group you far and away win is the interior DL. But remember our OL is really really good so Sweat and Murphy wont be quite as dominant as you think. I genuinely think people have such a preconceived notion about our team that they forget our OL. Watch the last Oregon game to see it in action.

I donāt think it was that flagrant and ref calls and no calls are kind of part of the game in college football, especially PAC 12. We got fucked on plenty of bad calls this year but overcame because that is what mature teams who know how to win do. I am sure you guys both benefited and got hurt from questionable calls as well.
