No because then schools will stick with the new trend of firing coaches in season so their players don't have anywhere to transfer which is what caused this shitshow. I haven't spent a ton of time thinking about it, but there doesn't appear to be an easy solution.
It's all because of the 30 day portal window when you fire a coach. They can't really take that away because then schools will go back to firing coaches the week after signing day.
Doctor wouldn't lie about his stroke. You can take one look at the guy and tell he's on the downhill slope if you've watched your elderly grandparents decline and die.
Coleman has 1,200 yards in 2 seasons on a shit offense with terrible quarterbacks while playing for a coach who thought Jackson Arnold would solve all his problem. He's probably worth a lot.
I like how the helicopter pilot got out with no mask on. If everyone is about to die from fumes, the dude who can fly the chopper probably shouldn't do that.
It looks like Barkley might be washed. It wouldn't be the first time it happened to someone after a 2,000 yard season. If that's the case, I don't think they will suddenly turn it around.
I think it's because his family is a strong believer that it's important to enjoy the college experience while you can and also that you need 25+ college starts before you're ready for the NFL.
All I heard was Max's engineer say that Norris had passed Kimi and wondering out loud if he let him do it on purpose. It was a bit out of the blue, so I could see why it would maybe raise an eyebrow for a second until you saw what happened.
A key difference was FSU played in the ACC championship game without their QB and their offense looked like complete ass. They barely beat a bad Louisville team. That hasn't happened with Ole Miss.
Ohio St was desperate for a tackle going in to this season. Someone always is. You bring in a tackle to compete with him and you are just about guaranteeing that you will lose him. He's good enough and it's not worth the potential issues it would cause. There are other positions that are a much higher priority. Last year if they wanted to try something like that at Guard, it would have made sense. It doesn't make sense at tackle this year.
I don't think anyone is going to try the fairness method again when it comes to handling teammates competing for a title after seeing how it played out for McLaren. Then again most teams probably already knew it was a bad idea. It still probably would have worked out fine if Red Bull didn't fire Horner mid-season.
