I would blame the team here. They made a bad choice in the beginning that brought about the worst possible result for them in the drivers championship.
If Wisner was either bigger or faster, he would be a really damn good back. But he's not, so he doesn't have the top end speed to take advantage of his agility and vision or the size to get more yards on inside runs and in short yardage situations.
It makes sense because it takes 2-3 years for someone to get strong enough to hold up inside. It's easier to just find someone in the portal every year that you know can play than taking a handful of high school players for the spots every year to ensure you have starters and depth every season.
A war against Venezuela is going to go even worse for him than the Epstein files. Everyone will have the exact same initial reaction. Why the fuck are we invading Venezuela?
Mercedes was terrible at the start of the new regs, but they stuck to it and came up with a pretty decent car by the end of the cycle. Ferrari seems to have taken the back marker route and gave up when they realized they couldn't beat Red Bull.
The problem isn't the top 1 or 2 wr recruits every year who are studs the minute they step foot on campus. Its 3-10. That's where you still tie up a lot of money, but they need time to develop or are straight up busts.
