  1. Yes, I think you should do this. That's a great looking watch.
  2. It's a no for me. Reddit saying they are past 75 people as of midnight and there are pictures showing people in line. The news was leaked before they were ready and even then the demand obviously caught them way off guard. They cut the number from 2 to 1 but otherwise there's been no time to respond to the crazy demand and increase inventory at stores. For those reasons, I'm out.
  3. Yeah, don't count on me. Now that it's only one, I'm a definite maybe. At best. But I'll report back if I go.
  4. I'm probably going by around 8 tomorrow morning. If it's crazy, forget it.
  5. For anyone interested, the watch auction for World Central Kitchen in the Ukraine is now online. https://loupethis.com/auctions 100% of proceeds go to support Jose Andres World Central Kitchen which is serving meals to refugees. https://wck.org/
  6. It takes a little practice but it isn't too hard to get the hang of. Watch a YouTube video. And always go from the under side of the watch.
  7. I'll stop by Saturday my and see if it's crazy. I'll definitely get 2 if it's not. A friend wants one who is in California and I'll probably give the other to my wife. I think the jupiter one is cool, as is Mars. But I'll give her the uranus. Doubt I'll get in though... I'm sure it's going to be absolutely nuts.
  8. Anyone a fan of Christy Hopkins? Out of my price range. But I really like her stuff.
  9. I'm going to need some of these when I get my place in Colorado. Very cool.
  10. Cool, thank you! I'm going to go with an LED strip I think since its going to be attached to the inside of a frame.
  11. Awesome, thank you. It seems like it would be readily available off the shelf, but I couldn't find anything that had the cascading effect other than the Christmas lights. Then diving deeper, it took about 2 seconds to exceed my knowledge of lighting. That website above is very interesting, but way way beyond my level of comprehension of lighting and programming. I did see the section on fading light which gave me flashbacks to learning C++ 25 years ago and which I never learned other than to create a random number generator. This video seems to show it kindof. Its from 2013 at the 20 second mark.
  12. Cool, thank you, checking that out now. The simplest way to explain what I'm looking for is something like the Christmas decorations that hang from trees that look like icicles and the light goes down like its cascading. I just need a flexible LED strip that does this same thing and can change colors and has adjustable speed. Preferably in 3-10' sections with a controller.
  13. Thanks, it for an art project to cast some shadows. just needs to be a continuous chase with a few lights lit at a time where the speed and color is variable.
  14. Working on a small project and need some help regarding very specific LED lights. Any help is appreciated. I need short runs (5-10') of Addressable LED Chase lighting that can adjust the color and also have a "gap" so that there are only 1-3 sequential lights illuminated at any one time in the entire length, but still chase. It does appear that a longer strand could be cut to the necessary length, but that would result in a lot of waste. I understand that addressable lights can be programmed to have specific patterns/colors/speed/etc. But I don't have that knowledge or any idea where to start. Seems most of the addressable LED lighting solutions are from manufacturers in China. So instead of trying to describe what I'm looking for to any of those companies, I figured I'd check the Surly collective. Anyone knowledgeable about LED lighting/programming?
  15. AMY ready for demonstration plant commissioning. American Manganese's RecycLiCo Demonstration Plant Equipment Ready for Commissioning 4:00 am ET March 15, 2022 (Accesswire) Print SURREY, BC / ACCESSWIRE / March 15, 2022 / American Manganese Inc. (TSXV:AMY)(OTCQB:AMYZF)(FSE:2AM) ("AMY" or the "Company"), a pioneer in advanced lithium-ion battery cathode recycling-upcycling, and its independent R&D contractor Kemetco Research Inc. ("Kemetco") are pleased to report that the equipment in the Company's demonstration plant is ready for commissioning. The plant is designed to demonstrate the RecycLiCo process in continuous operating conditions that will enable American Manganese to run the complete process and provide input for commercial operation. "The demonstration plant project is a pivotal and defining moment that will demonstrate the RecycLiCo process' ability to operate at real-world operating conditions and provide actionable feedback towards the design and development of commercial lithium-ion battery recycling-upcycling plants," said Larry Reaugh, President and CEO of American Manganese. "We will be working with third parties to validate the demonstration plant's operating efficiencies and qualify large quantities of recycled-upcycled material to aid in the progression of strategic partnerships." The Company has received cathode scrap feedstock, with an NMC (lithium-nickel-manganese-cobalt oxide) chemistry, which is used in the latest generation electric vehicles. Once commissioned, the initial testing and operation of the demonstration plant system will commence with mechanical shredding of the cathode scrap and characterization of the feed material for hydrometallurgical processing. The hydrometallurgical processing is scheduled to run continuously while simultaneously measuring data points to monitor and collect process efficiencies. The demonstration plant will include the following core unit operations at the planned cathode scrap processing capacity of 500 kg/day: Shredding of cathode scrap materials and separating the active cathode material from aluminum foils Leaching active cathode material (lithium, nickel, manganese, and cobalt) and removing impurities Producing a high purity mixed nickel-manganese-cobalt hydroxide and lithium carbonate After the initial demonstration plant program, AMY intends to continue additional operation testing of unit operations to produce upcycled materials for interested third parties. These unit operations will include the production of precursor cathode active material, lithium hydroxide, and lithium sulfate products to the desired specifications for lithium-ion battery re-manufacturing. The global push for sustainability, rising fossil fuel prices, and supply chain instability have significantly influenced the demand and supply trends for battery metals such as lithium, nickel, cobalt, and manganese. AMY continues to advance commercialization of its intellectual property to provide a sustainable supply of these critical materials.
  16. If IBRX has you down...a relatively positive article from yesterday. https://seekingalpha.com/article/4495747-immunitybio-extensive-pipeline-nda-expected-for-anktiva-this-quarter
  17. Yeah, the old location had a huge menu and massive portions and while it was good, it didn't feel refined. They were just doing too much. Plus it was small and cramped. The new smaller menu and more reasonable portions are a huge improvement. Took a little bit to get going at the Memorial location (and the time I've been to the recently-opened Campbell location it was good but not great as well), but wow they are killing it now. The bacon-wrapped chipotle pork tenderloin is amazing. Also, the Hot Chicken Sandwich next door at Dish Society is also fantastic. That place is hit or miss for me, but that sandwich is pretty remarkable.
  18. The Jonathan's the Rub on Memorial has really hit its stride. Definitely worth checking out. The Bacon Chipotle Pork is amazing. Meatball Bruschetta is a fantastic appetizer. The smaller menu really lets them focus on the quality and its highly recommended. The Campbell location was good when we went about a month ago, but the Memorial Green location has knocked it out of the park.
  19. Info about the Redbar/Revolution Charity Auction. Will benefit Jose Andres World Central Kitchen. www.wck.org
  20. Well, this is pretty fucking badass.
  21. Sold 15% at $10.25. Now if AMYZF can get some momentum...would love good news on the pilot plant. I hope the delay isn't something to be concerned about.
  22. @blutoYou saying UUUU has limited upside, or that UUUU still has some room here?
  23. Not sure, I'm sure it will be a mix. I'm probably in for a Farer Cobb, Hanhart ES417 bronze or an Enicar digital. I'm sure it could be a write-off, but don't know any details at this point. Will definitely let y'all know as soon as I get more info.
  24. If anyone is interested, there will be a watch auction coming up to support relief efforts in the Ukraine. Specifically, they will be donating money to Jose Andres World Central Kitchen. He's actually in Ukraine cooking food for families fleeing their homes. https://wck.org/. The auction is being put together by Revolution Magazine and Adam Craniotes (started RedBar for you watch nerds). Anyways, if anyone is interested in either donating a watch or in the auction itself, message me and I'll keep you in the loop as this comes together.
