The anti-fatrick. Good on him and he visited 7 of the last 9 holes so I like to think the golf gods smiled on him. He was knocking everything about 3 feet coming in.
I am so looking forward to the NDAgDad post talking about how he went to Notre Dame but he couldn't understand why his daughter decided to go to Texas A&M. Now he gets it and wishes he had gone to A&M too instead of ND after witnessing the most amazing atmosphere unlike anything else in the history of college football. Tradition far exceeding that of any school, including his alma mater. The friendliest people who saved the family from a burning car and drove them to the stadium and then took the family dog to the best veterinary school in the world to save it from terminal cancer. It's time to soothe the BAS pain with a good old fashioned "We're just better people post." I imagine Liucci is drafting it right now. Calm the masses Liucci, it's time to calm and distract the masses. They are restless.
I came from a Ninja drip coffee maker. It was fine. But then I tried the Tetsu method and it was night and day difference in being able to actually discern the different flavors. And for a little more than $100 total, mostly the kettle. Plus making a single cup at a time slows my coffee intake. Update, I tried a finer grind and it helped but still not very good. I just don't know if it is I just don't like their coffee or if I just caught them on a bad roasting day. I'm leaning towards I just don't like their coffee because all three have the same tart flavor that dominates and no other flavors come through so who knows.
Agreed, he hasn't completely nailed it but he had the idea and Mark (Long Island) is trying to steal the idea. People seem to like him, but there's no denying he steals designs and ideas which I think is shitty and unoriginal.l
I recently picked up the different beans from Onyx which I was excited to try. All three basically taste tart. I didn't get any of the coffee flavors. I don't typically like real fruity cups , leaning towards chocolate/caramel flavors. I know Onyx typically roast lighter than they are designated, e.g. two of the ones I ordered are "dark" roasts and one is a medium. None of them is even close to dark roast. More of a light/light medium. They don't taste like a light roast though, they taste tart. I use the Tetsu pour over method someone mentioned above and I love how much flavor it pulls out of the coffee...game changer. Hasn't helped with these though. I've heard a finer grind might help, so I'm about to try that. Any other suggestions?
He seems like a nice guy but he's absolutely ripping this idea off. Just like most of his designs are ripoffs. Not a fan. Here's the UT playoff watch. This guy started doing these a few years ago and is now getting agreements in place with schools and with the college football playoff.
No idea on your putter, but I played Hancock a ton back in the 80s. Head Pro was a really big guy that used to ride around on his cart. I don't think it was your guy. I believe Steve Darby was his name.
I wasn't aware of the etymology, that's interesting. The straps are incredibly well made. Not cheap but for nice watches it's definitely nice to have a well made strap.
New Cedric Bellon CB01 Small Seconds Titanium Strap by Montreux Straps and it's fantastic. FKM Rubber and way cheaper than alot of other brands. Horus charges a couple hundred dollars and these are $45. I actually like them more... Slight thinner and more pliable and more comfortable. Still really well made. I have the normal size and it is almost too big for my 7" wrist.
Anyone looking for a nicely done chronograph which also has a dual time inner rotating bezel, these are really nicely done for $325. Quite a few different color options. Meca-quartz movement. Bracelet may be a little extra but so under $400.
My daughter's team won the Midwest Moxie tournament in Cincinnati. That played sloppy and lost in the Semifinals in the Vail tournament earlier this week. Sucks because they were in first after bracket play and lost to a team they had already beaten pretty handily.
