  1. Finished 6th in the Safari on my baby account in rookie. Made the weekend in pro on my main account but couldn't get any drops on the back 9 and shot - 26.
  2. That's not the stonk way. I need rampant speculation. Thanks, I'll definitely buy you a bottle if it gets to $.44.
  3. Any predictions on where it will be at the end of the year?
  4. bought back my investment on FRSX when it jumped over a $1. Worth buying back in now that it's back down? Is ALPP a buy at $0.084?
  5. So the gorilla watch is pretty awesome. My initial impressions. A few thoughts. First, fuck people who make straps to. 000000001mm tolerances. I love the strap options, but damn they are hard to get installed. I think I like the Black with Blue dots the best. That could really change as I really like them all. This watch is solid and big and has an enormous wrist presence. It is comfortable as shit and the strap, for as big a pain in the ass as it is incredibly comfortable. I feel like I could forget I have it on its so damn comfortable. It's deep and the chapter ring is a beautiful blue color. Its sloped at a diagonal to the crystal and the blue and seconds hands nearly brush the edge. It's really fine. Nice attention to details like every five seconds marker has a small drop in the chapter ring. You can see it in the photos but it doesn't capture the additional 3D feel in real life. It kind of makes it look like the chapter rings itself is applied in some way. Hard to explain. The hours hand is actually attached to the entire concentric rings which is a neat feature when you set the time the entire thing revolves. The lume on the second hand ends on the inside of the hand exactly on the last concentric circle. The black hand is nearly invisible except for the white lume. You can only see the rest of the game when it is going over the white portion of the concentric circles. The inside of the arrow on the minutes hand is perfectly aligned with the outside of the interior markers. Its incredibly balanced and everything is in the exact right spot. For instance the second hand seems to ride the line on the chapter ring. I love the industrial, triangular crown and the guards. I wish it was signed but it's very easy to grasp and turn. The colored strip just below the bezel really stands out and catches the light and contrasts well with the black bezel and the matte grey case. The buckle has a nice texture on it. The black bezel actually rises up maybe one to two millimeters and the crystal sides nearly flush with it and has no curvature. The lume is badass. You really feel the depth in the dial and the reflection of the blue where the chapter ring is and the white part on the concentric circles. Numbers also have lume along with the interior markers. The tip of the seconds hand is brighter than the rest of the line so you really see the movement. Overall it's really a fantastic watch. You can tell that someone with an incredible attention to detail designed it (as you would expect with former AP designers). Also love the minutes on the dial instead of the hours. Gives it a true "automotive" feel which makes sense since they are inspired by American muscle cars. Definitely check out the wandering hands versions. There are some videos online. I may have to spring for one of those in the future. Really cool and unique way to tell the time and still easy to read.
  6. It was a joke. They were off fixing my wife's watch when I walked by it and I took a picture. First "real" one I've seen.
  7. It was invested with the intent to go up, that's all I can offer in defense. Definitely a bitch move though. Hopefully I don't thwart the recovery because I bought more to lower my average. We'll see. I sat on the sidelines for your other picks to see how they did and this was the first one I jumped on. Hopefully it recovers and makes a run for you.
  8. I think I have magical powers. Ha.
  9. Took it on the sly so they didn't think I was casting the joint. The Zeitwerk is probably my favorite but I like the platinum better.
  10. Maybe a small mailbox to leave notes? Just throwing that out there.
  11. Sounds like I'm about to retire.
  12. You will not regret a chiller if you live in Texas. Keep it at 87-89 during the summer and enjoy. Expensive adder but a necessity if you want to ENJOY your pool in the summer.
  13. A couple new pickups and another on the way. G-Shocks All Steel/All Black Gorilla Galaxy Blue with a few strap options. Summer/Beach watch. New to this brand, but its a few guys from AP going in a different direction. Anyways, they also have a badass wandering hands watch that I want, but its over $3k and not looking to spend that right now. Plus I don't like the new version color scheme - the older Drift is better. Picked up an Oris Aquis Clean Ocean for my wife's (no pics) birthday Stock photo - No actual pics yet. It's gorgeous and really a solid watch. Also a shoutout to Lewis Jewelers in Uptown Park. Really friendly event though I didn't buy the watch there and sized it for my wife. Also got to check out their ALS's including a Zeitwerk. So badass, although I wouldn't go with this one.
  14. I'm in on FRSX, so y'all are all going to lose your ass. Company may go bankrupt.
  15. Finished 13th in rookie with my second (beginner) account although the person who won obviously cheated (-36 through 12 holes - or in other words a hole in one on every hole played, picture attached). Missed the cut for the weekend on my main account because I didn't get a shot off in time on the last par 3 (which I made a hole in one on both times I played it in shootouts). F me. -26 in the weekend round isn't too bad with nearly beginner clubs (EM 4, BD 4, GR 4, Thorn 6, etc.) Not having the distance, leveled up Sniper, or ball guides takes away the relatively easy Albatrosses , although I did get one by luck on the 6th hole. Not bad with pretty much no ball guide and hitting a curl shot for the rough bump. Frustrating to miss the cut on the main account though. I haven't seen any reports of -40, which is kind of surprising considering the relative ease of making an albatross on each of the par 5s. I did see a -38 posted.
  16. I was at this fire when it started. It went up very fast.
  17. Had the pleasure of losing to Beavis twice today. I couldn't keep up with the Apoc 7/Cataclysm 7/TH7 combo she threw at me. Oh well, having more success in T10 now for the most part and getting the hang of the shootouts. Y'all playing in the Spring Major? Had a -13 on my beginner account in Rookie and a -14 in my regular account on Pro. Wouldn't be surprised to see something close to -20 for nine holes/-40 for 18 at some point. Too many chances for albatrosses and the par 3's and par 4's seem relatively easy for hole in one's/short shots to the green.
  18. 8k this season with my main account. Started a new account so I could play the early tours against people who aren't already part of established teams. Trying to get more members. Picked up another 750 trophies with that account. Crazy to play with beginner clubs. Takes a lot of getting used to. We had 10k as a Team and finished 3rd in Pro II and moved up to Pro III. Third straight time I've stayed in master 3. I don't play high enough tours to challenge in those. Have $230M now so will start playing a lot of tour 10.
  19. HEB deal on tenders. So cut some filets. Salt and pepper. Sous vide to 126. Finish on the skillet pre-heated to 550. Let rest for 5 minutes. I'm not responsible for the sides. Twice baked potato, corn souffle, some green bean thing.
  20. Also gotta say, nice coin stack. I'm about half that. I had $100M and quickly dropped to about $45M as I started playing Tour 10. Went back to 9 and have built it back up to about $110M. About ready to start T10 again. Would be less pressure with an additional $100M in coins. Studying this video now for the shootouts on T10. I hope I don't play her. I think its a girl or a 10 year old kid. I think the biggest difficulty I've been having with the various T10 shootouts is that several of them change how you play them depending on the wind. On T9, there are very few times I can't hit the same shot depending on the wind with only slight changes to account for the wind. So its easy and repeatable. Here you have to really remember the different approaches to each hole depending on the wind. I also learned my issue with the first shootout hole I listed above - she was using 35% over-adjustment for wind. I've been playing 20-25%. which was why I wasn't getting close. Should be better now. The others is just a matter of appropriate setup depending on the wind. I don't always use a P1 ball, so I'm sure this will have to be tweaked for different balls. I may start with some W5 P1 balls like the Kraken or this seasons ball to get used to the shootouts. Then go from there to other balls.
  21. Let me ask a question here. If you play against "Friends" which I guess is through Facebook, can you pick the course and/or holes you play? Probably my biggest issue in tournaments is that I am usually trying to play holes I'm not real familiar with and trying to hit other people's shots with clubs I don't use that often. It seems like the guys who play consistently well in the tournaments are able to play those tournament holes ALOT to practice and get their notes for each hole down exactly. I realize I can just go play the tours those courses are on, but in the middle of a match that counts, I'm not going to be focused on how to shoot 25-under in the tournament, I'm going to be trying to win the hole. I don't really want to play through FB, but if it does allow you to better prep for the tourneys I might have to give in.
