  1. So outside the city doesn't have local food, just garbage? Go to the dumpster and get some ingredients before eating at PH.
  2. Literally, you people are why America sucks and great local places get shut down. Places like Starbucks and Subway flourish while legit restaurants fail. Eat at a goddamn local joint. I bet a delivery service will even bring it to your door. I just can't understand ordering FF. What in the fucking fuck.
  3. That is next level shit.
  4. HoustonHorn posted a topic in Lulz
Who the fuck builds an indoor swimming natatorium that you can't swim in if it's lightning outside? The fuck? I didn't know who designed/built the Emmons Natatorium in Spring Branch, but I'm willing to put $100 on aggy.
  5. Where in the fuck do you people live that Pizza Hut is good pizza? Find something local that isn't a chain for fucks sake.
  6. Oceanridgebacks? Fuck dogs are awesome
  7. I've shot 57 before. There may have been more after that, but I've definitely shot 57. In my later years, that might not even require a 9-hole round.
  8. Any way to get these over the counter and not order online. In Houston. Sounds like Sounfs like what I need to help with anxiety and inability to sleep.
  9. I like Klatt. Gus needs to not announce anything but the last play if the game. I literally can't stand how over the top every single play is. I turn the volume off so I don't have to hear him masturbate over every 2 yard run.
  10. I watched a lady whiff it 5 times then skull top roll it for a hole in 1 (6) on the second hole. That was probably 30 years ago. We used to play it after playing Junior tournaments in the summer. Sometimes we hit up Peter Pan mini golf too. Guessing that isn't around anymore.
  11. Any bbq on the menu for tomorrow? Will be stopping by for lunch.
  12. Gus Johnson needs to be brought in to make the final call. Everything else is a bearing and I turn off the sound.
  13. Also, I played Pebble 25 years ago. Probably the worst round of my life. But my $/shot at Pebble was better than most. So victory?
  14. Is there anything better than Darren Clarke pimping whiskey?
  15. The players complaining is warranted in this case. The USGA has made a mockery of some of the greatest courses in the country. You are ok with Brooks calling out the players, but not ok with the players calling out the USGA. It may come across as whining, but I don't enjoy watching the US Open nearly as much as the other majors. That's squarely on the USGA. Narrow fairways, penalizing rough, tough hard fast (but fair) greens. Success. Instead they decided to change that strategy and turn it into a putt-putt championship. All that they have been missing was a windmill to hit it through. It is less a test of golfing ability, strategy, and nerves than it used to be. I'd rather find that out than watch the best in the game lag putt from 10' because they don't want it to roll 20' down the hill.
  16. Bitching about people bitching is still bitching. I respect the hell out of what he's done, but spurned bitch isn't a good look. If thats what he thrives on, then good for him. I do appreciate he doesn't provide canned, media ready answers. But we know his position now and he needs to slow it down.
  17. I liked Monty a lot more after he retired. Like Faldo his personality away from the course is very different.
  18. I used to hate Nick Faldo in his playing days and he's a favorite now. IP is kind of the same. He can be irritating as fuck on the course (especially during the Ryder Cup), but overall a pretty cool guy. Whoever said, I love to hate him in the Ryder Cup is right. He's an annoying dildo, but fuck if he doesn't back it up when it matters. I can respect that as a fan, even if he isn't on my team.
  19. Seen it, covered it.
  20. P. Terry's sucks. Shortstop was great, then I got food poisoning so I haven't been back since the mid-90's. But I didn't mention them because the 2-burger/2-fry deal for $5 was badass as a college student. Top Notch still kicks if you need a thin burger. Or hit up Whataburger if you need that fast food chain experience.
  21. Fucking this. I lived about 1/2 a block from Crown and ate the $3.25 burger and fries (with a beer or several) enough that I'll be lucky to make it to 50. Posse was great too. As an engineer, it was just too convenient to my classes and it was cheap.
  22. I wrote an article for the hs newspaper in the early 90s on Huts. Got a double Dagburger that literally exploded out of the top of the bun when I took my first but. It's was pretty damn good back then. Great onion rings too. Hopefully a T. Perry's or Smashburger or 5 Guys moves into the location. Can't get enough of those.
  23. I'd suggest a chiller if you're in Texas. Big difference between 86 and 92. 82-84 if my wife isn't around.
