I think about all the shit I should buy when I'm working my ass off so here goes.
Want a truck, but not sure I want a truck. Don't really need it, but I'm in a construction-related field so a truck is always a good play. We already have enough room for kids/dogs/storage/hauling so a truck isn't a necessity. But a few co-workers have some nice F-150s so its on the radar. Is the Limited Edition worth it? Is the engine actually tuned like the Raptor, or can it be done? The website has the same engine listed and someone above said it was the same engine but my understanding is they add a chip and do a lot of tuning to the Raptor to get to the increased horsepower. Seems easy enough to do if that's the case. I'm a fairly aggressive driver, but not crazy. I enjoy performance though.
At the very least I need some sort of SUV/sedan that can hold up to 5 people, so no console in the middle of the backseat. Doesn't need to be that big or comfortable, but I have two kids and would be nice to not have to switch cars to haul them and friends around. I currently have a 2012 A6 which fits the bill ok.
Not really looking, but circumstances might allow for an upgrade. Love my Audi but it hasn't exactly been maintenance free so not sure I'd move up to an S6.
Don't want a turbowagon that seems to be the rage these days. Love the engines, but I'm not driving a fast station wagon. I grew up watching out of the backseat of a station wagon. Probably had 5 HP vs. 500, but that's not happening.
Needs to be a manly enough car to take to a project site and not pretentious enough to be noticed. 5 seats, decent trunk space. 5 figures.
Sell me on something here or sell me on something besides an F-150 Limited as a truck.
Back to work.
