Don't forget about Bubba Jean's in Kerens.  It's a culinary masterpiece.  LOL.

Kerens makes Gun Barrel seem like Paris, France. Take a ride through Cherokee Shores in Payne Springs will make you miss Corsicana.

Apparently, Texas is chock full of shitty towns.  Let's talk about cool towns; better mojo.

It's hard to beat Gruene, TX on a beautiful spring evening.  One of the best nights of my life was at a Jerry Jeff concert in Gruene Hall on just such an evening.

Thats nice and all but this is Surly. We prefer to shit on things

you forgot the Collin Street Bakery.  Nice oasis on the long trip from Austin to Jackson, MS.  Free coffee and clean bathrooms before there were Bucky's.

    They also have an HEB.

    Yep, it's bad.

Far worse places than Corsicana. Hell they have a Starbucks, Chik fila and a home depot. Just go 10 miles east on 31 to Kerens and you'll see despair.

If we're talking about fighting, those days are long behind me.  I would only do it in self defense these days.  And, this is coming from someone who used to love to fight.  Hell, I started a pretty big brawl on the intramural fields (brother), way back when.  Out of all the outcomes, only one is "positive" and, even that is questionable.

    I could die.

    I could accidentally kill someone.

I could get my ass kicked or hurt.

    I could lose my job.

    I could get arrested.

    I could get sued.

The only positive is that I could possible win the fight, but then I'd have anxiety over the cops showing up (assault) or getting served.

When I was in school, I remember The Daily Texan had an article about a fight that happened outside the Hole in the Wall.  One punch.  Dude fell back, hit his head, and died.  The guy that punched him could have been justified in doing so; however, in throwing one punch, he killed a guy and probably ruined his own life.  No thanks.

My husband is doing his clinicals right now in Tulsa for his CRNA program and is considering canceling his trip down here for thanksgiving 😞. A part of me thinks it’s for the best, the other part of me thinks we’ll be ok if he comes. Thanksgiving is just going to be my roomie, MIL, him, and myself. I don’t know what to do.

Don't feel bad y'all going to be rich. Like surly rich when he's finished

I've always wondered this and never gotten a straight answer...for those of you guys that wear bracelets and/or multiple rings:

How do you decide when to stop putting them on before you leave the house?  Like, I get a wedding band and/or class ring.  But if you're one of those guys that wears 2+ rings everyday, how do you decide how many rings, on which fingers, and for what days?  And if you wear bracelets.  How do you decide on which wrist and how many you're gonna wear that day?  I see plenty of grown men all the time with varying amounts of bracelets and/or rings.  Is it like a "days of the week" thing or a mood thing?  How does it go?

I put a cock ring on before leaving for the day. Does that count?
