  1. are you saying you are in Ketosis at .3? I'm not sure i agree with everything you are saying but if you are losing weight and most importantly are going to keep it off- that is what's important and I'm cheering for you as a fellow surly member---truly. most likely you have a very high body fat% and are losing lots of water weight.
  2. Not sure i can answer that. Im not sure what max energy/peak performance is for you. In true "ketosis" you are basically using stored fat instead of carbs for energy. As you know having a balanced diet taking in complex carbs for fuel is a good way to go but most people dont take in those kind of carbs. I know there are some surly posters who can better answer this regarding ketosis and performance. Looks like you are doing things right in life. Congrats for your sucesses. Little indulgences here n there make life go.
  3. Most likely you are not in Ketosis while on "keto". Many people go on no carb but do not change the other part of their diet. Eating lots of fats, moderate protein and staying under 30 grams of carbs. Going only to super low carb and especially no carb will not get you into the state of ketosis. Your body using stored fat for energy. This can also take weeks to truly acheive. Thats why in my opinion keto is very hard to stay true to. Lots of people do keto diet and lose weight because they cut the carbs but then they plateau. They never fully reach the next level of ketosis.
  4. Do any of you have any other goals besides just losing weight? like doing say 10 pull ups, bench pressing your body weight or whatever? I find that helps and is important. its one thing to lose fat but also its important to gain strength or at least maintain strength. For me whats always been important is maintaining my strength.
  5. intermittent fasting and keto is about a good as gets for losing weight rapidly. for me fasting 16/8 is easy but keto--and truly staying in ketosis is tough. lost of people say they are keto but unless you are testing your blood to make sure im not sure you are.
  6. Do Country Dance Halls count? Asking for a reeeeal cowboy friend of mine.
  7. I'm suppose to take my hat off in Whataburger?
  8. please note we made a mistake on the left hand side "patio". you can see it dip in middle. I didn't get the pad square there and we had to do some East Texas engineering with the welding.

  12. If anyone enjoys having a shop/barn/man cave, I've been building a new one. If you have any questions maybe I can answer them.
  13. I agree with you 100%. That's why I like intermittent fasting. You are not following a diet like Keto, Paleo, Whole 30 or whatever you fancy for Jan 1. I tell people start with 12/12 and you are sleeping for 8 of the 12 hours of the fast. You can pretty much stay with your normal eating habits-I mean you can't eat processed foods, sugars and carbs for the other 12 hours and lose weight but you do not have to be super strict like the diets. Then work your way to 16/8. From Chipotle I order the salad- double chicken, sauteed veggies, pico, hot salsa and cheese, No dressing. sometimes I add the Guac. i think it is right at 600 cal.
  14. nice. wife is making a turkey "chili" tonight using the recipe above but adding some bell peppers a about a can of black beans. i think I've been running to low of carbs. been averaging around 20g a day. at 215 in weight I'm thinking 30g.
  15. some good stuff in here. I'm a big believer in intermittent fasting for keeping off the weight. 16/8 is what i've been doing for the last 8 years or so. there have been plenty of times i've not followed strictly since i like to partake in the wine but its worked for me. when i really need to get lean I'll add keto---actually getting into ketosis or at least low carb, say less than 50 grams. I've been into weights for nearly 20 years and believe lifting heavy is important. those of you that have had trouble with diets and keeping off the weight longterm, please give Intermittent fasting a try. Good luck gentlemen
  16. did you do L'Atelier Robuchon or Restaurant Joel Robuchon both were fantastic for me but different experiences. RJB is/was much more over the top.

  21. I agree Lewan wins this match cause neither of them probably know how to fight and probably never even been in a real fight cause they've both been alpha males growing up. Nobody fucked with them especially with Lewan. He never had to fight. When you got 2 guys who have never had to fight always go with the big dude. I saw this with Brock Edwards back in the late '90s in and around Northeast Tarrant county. fucker was huge and went around fucking with people and just scared them until he was in Haltom City. He knew there kids smaller then him had no issue throwing down.
  22. crazy right? lol. i loved Roy Jones Jr. pure athlete in the ring. fastest hands i've ever seen. when age came damn it came in a bad way.
  23. i like RAD a lot. havent done LGD. what length of cycle do you do? 8 or 12 weeks? the half life is pretty long, thats nice.
  24. You are not going see much of anything in gaining muscle mass with Cardarine unless you add S4, MK-2866, YK11 etc plus being on MK-677 for at least couple months. Cardarine is pretty good for cutting if stay on it long enough. I get all my Sarms from proven peptides.
