  1. I have been notified by 3 different organizations I do business with in the last 2 months about data breach and my personal information may have been exposed. Most recently I was notified by my bank. The have arranged for a 1 year complimentary membership with Identity Defense Tool ( never heard of it). Just starting to research all the options available as it seems that it inevitable. What does Surly think? Are these services worth the money?
  2. My personal liability umbrella policy has tripled in 3 years. Paid less than $1k for $3M coverage in 2020. Renewal for same coverage this year is $3400. I am told there are only two carriers writing policies in Fl for personal liability umbrella. Are you seeing similar is Texas?
  3. That’s awesome.. what school? how is the season going? my oldest went down last week with a knee injury.. MRI Monday night , fingers crossed. she is a sophomore so it’s her big recruiting summer.
  4. Thanks for the replies and forgive my transgressions. Will do better on posting in the appropriate thread moving forward. Also I probably should have added that the questions were mostly in jest and seeking comical responses.
  5. Anyone get in on the Truth Social action today? Also, is there an index fund of marine salvage corporations in the mid Atlantic coast?
  6. I said the same thing 15 years ago. Now I have 3 on 3 separate club teams. It’s short lived too and I am enjoying every minute.
  7. Not too bad.. anyway the diaper stage is short lived. Heads up it doesn't get any cheaper. You will spend more on a season of club volleyball than you did for all diapers combined.
  8. Can't imagine the cost of diapers currently. In the early Obama years we had 3 in diapers at the same time. At the time the cheapest way to get them was through amazon subscribe and save. unit costs were about $.25/each
  9. Awesome news OCU, sending out positive vibes wishing you two the best. Stay positive for her. You got this.
  10. How does it compare size wise with a Tahoe? On my 3rd Tahoe and have always liked them. I use all of the space behind 2nd row for some tool boxes and other items.
  11. I think that’s called consulting or being an expert witness
  12. The punishment and misery of owning a GC business wasn't enough? Had to double down?
  13. Bought a new GMC for in December, did all of the negotiating with them via text. Once we agreed to a price I sent them all the information and driver's license ETC. In and out of the dealership in less than 45 mins. went well Bought a certified pre-owned for my oldest last month from a different dealer and it was a pain and had to deal with the typical used car salesmen BS. The advertised price was based upon a trade in and financing through them or add $3k to the price. I got out of there at the advertised price but it wasn't easy or fun. Advice- know what you want and what it is worth , negotiate via text as much as possible. and best of luck.
  14. Necro of all necro bumps here.. Surely there are a few lacrosse fans or Dads of lacrosse players on SH. 5 games into the the High School season here in FLA and my 3 daughters are all playing on the same varsity team for the first time this year. Occasionally all 3 Lil Boggetts are on the draw circle at the same time. Anyone else have kids playing? anyone? Bueller?
  15. Wouldn't feel right taking your money considering your the primary source of all the news letter content.
  16. similar to my memories, Mine was was Dad's hand me down from the late 1950's, was fairly worn out and had the tendency to misfire when it was being cocked. One day I had it between my legs trying to cock it ( I was may 6 or so) and it misfired and i didn't know it at the time but it shot the parent's bath room window. Well the gun went away for a few months after he discovered the hole a few weeks later.
  17. Why do we drive on a parkway and park on a driveway?
  18. That's not how David Banner did it on the Incredible Hulk episode that forever seared the dangers of quicksand into my youthful, impressionable brain. I think every popular TV show during era had a plot line involving QS, including the Love Boat.
