  8. The Pan Am logo was pimpalicious
  9. I think I prefer the tile and terrain of 6 over 5. But the ugly looking leaders have got to go 3600 hours in Civ 6, and 1300 in Civ 5. Don’t even ask about 2-4. I can quit anytime, but just one more turn…
  10. The Romans didn’t lose to Panama

  12. Vienna falls to the Ottomans! Vienna falls to the Ottomans!
  13. Public schools, health care system, giant water parks. The same reason anyone comes to America.
  14. We've got ourselves a game. Austria finally found the back of the net
  15. I never saw him play for DC United, but as a coach... fuck that guy πŸ–•
  16. RIP. I really enjoyed his writing. Though, ngl, I thought he had died years ago.
  17. Reverso is my vote, but throwing in Longines Dolce Vita as a wildcard
  18. GF and I went to the Burnley match in May as well. But, being as it was our first time going to the stadium or even an EPL match, rather than dealing with figuring out the nuances of memberships and ticket exchanges, I bit the bullet and bought a premium package from one of Tottenham's approved brokers (sportbreaks.com if you're interested) that included nice seats, lounge access, and tickets for the underground and overground on match day. Yeah, it was way more than 10 GBP pp, but it was a great experience.
  19. My latest acquisition. Speedmaster Mark III c. 1973. It’s by no means a small watch, but it still wears surprisingly well imo. It has that 70’s funk, chunk, and heft but isn’t gaudy like the 50+mm watches that were popular a few years ago https://www.fratellowatches.com/speedy-tuesday-omega-speedmaster-professional-mark-iii-176-002/
