  1. It’s a terrible marketing job but a good concept if you do it by store by demand. The problem with these big chains is they are in lockstep on price and promotion. A 2for1 fish sandwich might fly in one part of town but not in others. And the math they do on a national basis is complex.

They should have just said we have great new technology that enables real time store specific promotions based on traffic, item demand, inventory, etc to go with the national /regional standard pricing and promos. Some stores need help at the dinner hour. Some may have meat they need to move thru before it goes bad.

They be idiots to say it’s the lunch rush so add 2 bucks to a double.

So had a client in town and was going to Panther City but closed on Tuesday. So went to the Hurtado on 8th st. Guest was from NJ and raved about it. He then got a birria taco.

That’s brisket, burnt ends, bacon wrapped stuffed jap, brisket tostada, and Mexican cornbread with brisket, elotes and jalapeños. It was great.

  3. flavor bomb, good or bad?
Celebrity chef and TV host Guy Fieri expands his grocery store footprint with the launch of new Flavortown Sauces.
Guy Fieri's Flavortown Sauces consists of nine condiments and BBQ sauces, including:
Famous Donkey Sauce - A creamy, garlicky, flavor-bombed aioli.
Top Secret Sauce - A creamy aioli with notes of chili powder, mustard, and garlic.
Honey Mustard Sauce - A tangy mustard with sweet honey creaminess.
Poppin' Jalapeno Sauce - A creamy, garlicky aioli featuring spicy jalapenos.
Kickin' Chipotle Sauce -  A mayo-based sauce with spicy heat from a combination of smoky chipotle, chili, and spices.
Smokin' Hickory BBQ Sauce - A BBQ sauce with a "just-right balance of sticky, sweet, smoky and tangy."
Mop Sauce BBQ Sauce - A BBQ sauce made with chile, spices, molasses, and some mustard tang.
Carolina Style BBQ Sauce - A BBQ sauce made featuring "tangy mustard, a little sweetness, and savory spice."
Money Honey BBQ Sauce: Just what you're lookin' for. Sweet, sticky honey pulls together brown sugar, a hint of tomato and spices that'll upgrade any dish…and you can take that to the bank.
The Flavortown Sauces is produced by Litehouse Foods. You can find the new sauce at grocery retailers nationwide starting next month (March 2024) with a suggested price that ranges from $4 to $5.

This is all a big project of Golden west Foods that has signed up Guy, Gordon Ramsay, Kardea Brown, and Andrew Zimmern for frozen foods, sauces, seasonings, etc. The frozen entrees are all at Walmart and Big chains. The Guy items don’t seem out of character but Ramsay’s are just dreadful. He spent an entire season of the f word railing against frozen meals and here he is pimping Wellington bites and shepherds pie. All are loaded with chemicals and tout “made with bioengineered products”. I’ve not tried any as they are $6 - 7 for a TV dinner.

BTW Zimmern has really progressed from the weirdness of his shows eating bugs and various dicks around the world. His family dinner show is good but his wild game cooking series is really very good.

  4. Larry even joined in singing JG whitworth…

Overall the season stinks. Not a good way to go out. Susie looks like the cartoon Nancy. They are filthy rich and can join any club in LA so they all accept this terrible food and service and this dictatorial manager.

  5. Lots of veteran RBs available. But I’m sure Jerruh will come on radio/tv with his shit eating grin (the same shit he keeps trying to sell for 29 years) and will tell us they are going in a different direction. This team will continue to underachieve and terrify no one as long as he’s the GM. Period. The rest is just fans trying to justify why they are fans and stuck being that way. Deep down we all know Jerruh can’t get it done. Not with a salary cap.

I say absofucking no to signing any high dollar high mileage oft injured used up RBs. No to Saquan, no to Jacobs, no to Pollard, no to Derrick Henry. Watch Jerry sign up Zeke for a 3 year $36 mil deal.

  6. Arnie is wrong and he should feel bad.

When using the cheapest or crappy bacon, yes, you dice it up into the eggs. Hide it if you will.

When you have good thick cut bacon you don’t need tricks. That’s something whores do for money.

Those with great sharp teeth can enjoy a strip or two of thick cut bacon. There is a third way for bacon: one inch lengths or so. That way I don’t drag a length of bacon to drag all the way out along with half the taco innards into my shirt and all over my car.

Also team no egg. Beans, bacon, cheese, crispy fried taters.

  7. What color is the sky on your planet?

Of course that’s pie in the sky. My company is based in San Diego and they all loved the Chargers, but hated the Spanos family. Fucking Greek gangsters.

The Chargers will be a road team in their own stadium forever. San Diego would welcome the team back if the ownership was different.
  8. Hell yea. Hamburger steaks are one of my favorite meals from when I was younger that shit always hits.

This. This was a splurge meal in college. My typical meals were 75 cent -1$ meals poor man deals every decent restaurant in Memphis had back then. Turnip greens, green onions, and cornbread at lunch at a steakhouse. Beans rice and enchilada gravy at the TexMex joint. Fried rice and an egg roll at the Chinese joint. A bbq baloney sandwich. Leftover knishes at the Jewish deli.
