  1. Meh, there was no unfucking what the officials were deliberately doing to Texas on Saturday. The good news is we won't have an SEC officiating crew for any more games this year. The bad news is, we might get a Rig 12 crew...
  2. Yeah one of the most important passes of the day, and we didn't even get a replay. That was strange.
  3. That was some bullshit. Maybe when we face these slapdicks a third time we'll do it without any shittastic SEC refs or craptacular B12 refs. Give me AAC or give me death!
  4. What a coincidence. "Beer, Weed & Vomit" was the name of my high school garage band.
  5. It's similar to how they've now abandoned the decades-long mantra of the "SEC Grind" in favor of this year's new motto "the sips got the easiest schedule in history." The truth is, this year perhaps more than any other, actually proves that the SEC Grind really DOES exist. Mid and even bad teams in the SEC are knocking off the top dogs regularly. Georgia lost to Ole Miss. Then Kentucky beat Ole Miss. Then Florida beat Ole Miss and LSU. Alabama lost to both Vandy and OU. Tennessee lost to Arkansas at home. This is the absolute perfect year to demonstrate the toughness of the "SEC Grind." But... but, it didn't affect Texas. Texas beat all those mid teams. Texas whipped the snot out of several of them. Texas didn't sustain the season-ending and game-changing injuries across the board that were predicted from facing all those pipe-hitting SEC teams. And because Texas didn't suffer the agony of inevitable loss and heartbreak along the SEC Grind Trail, the cognitive dissonance is forcing those good ags to rationalize what they're seeing in some other way, despite the piles of evidence to the contrary. It's been a fun season to watch.
  6. They continue to have zero understanding of what NIL actually is. They think the SEC can somehow "limit" it, when the "big boys" start losing out to upstarts. It would be quite humorous to watch the SEC attempt to circumvent state laws. I invite them to try.
  7. Maybe you should ask your husband to help you finish that 22 oz beer in a timely manner. /surly
  8. No offense intended, but there are screen-shot megathreads for all these comments from the delusional fan bases of our opponents.
  9. You're correct. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SEC_Championship_Game#:~:text=The SEC Championship game has featured a rematch of a,will be the eighth rematch. In other words-- we're DOOMED!
  10. What a bunch of whining hypocrites. Maybe they're not outbidding anyone NOW. But that's because they're poor, not principled. They were absolutely outbidding schools when it was just them and a handful of other dirty cheater programs dropping bags in the pre-NIL days.
  11. So he's not just the new Looch, he's the new Branding Iron 13-0 as well...
  12. Well there's one guy I consistently see heaping praise on the genius of Graham's trolling, and that poster is... @BurntEyes. So I'm guessing he's gotta be the t-sip behind the ag facade!
  13. Chili can be an appetizer. Do it!
  14. If the SEC were genuinely concerned about good sportsmanship and the safety of opposing team's players on the sidelines, they'd have fined and suspended Kirby Smart. But they aren't, and they didn't. The response was perfect. But I'm sort of itching for them to come back and give CDC a hard time, because the SEC's indefensible lack of action regarding Kirby Smart's sideline assault deserves to be aired even more publicly.
  15. Yup. And I was hoping CDC would also attach a check for a full million dollars with a note that says, "This should cover the next 3 times our fans are forced to correct your shitty refs."
  16. I like the one guy who considers "wearing overt tu gear" as classless behavior and inviting trouble. Imagine, wearing a Longhorn t-shirt to a game the Longhorns are playing in. The NERVE. I'm sure he has a story about some stupid sip who was committing the sin of wearing Longhorn gear to watch the Longhorns play, sitting in the row in front of him, and how he gently had to lay that dude down on the bench and gently choke him, because how dare he be such a disrespectful trouble-maker??
  17. Yeah sorry, I was skimming through and thought it was a reference to the football championship game.
  18. Memorial Stadium, Austin, TX, 11/10/1990. Somebody get that idiot off the goalpost.
  19. V10s is the way.
  20. Agree that wouldn't be good. It'd actually be better if they were omitted completely this year, rather than making it in as a lower seed and having to travel to play against a good team on the road. I don't really think Notre Dame is much of a threat, but Ohio State certainly is.
  21. One of the benefits of the COVID pandemic is that it killed off our annual office pot-luck we always had in the weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas. They talked about bringing it back this year, but it didn't gain any traction thank goodness. Instead we're taking off early one day next week and doing a team happy hour at Pinthouse, on the company dime.
  22. I'm trying to understand this statement. The Superdome is about 1 mile walking distance from the Hotel Monteleone. I've walked to the stadium from the Quarter every single time I've been to a game there, which is 3x now. It's only 1/10th of a mile further than my old tailgating spot is from DKR-TMS, down in the state lots around 16th street.
  23. Did I stumble onto the "High" thread?
  24. Legacy SEC programs have been scheduling one-off neutral site games in Dallas and Houston in order to gain more exposure in the state of Texas. It seems logical that at some point the conference office would want to rotate its post-season showcase to one of the stadiums within the Lone Star State, at least occasionally.
