  1. The funniest part is that Kyle Field is not, and never has been, a war memorial. Their Student Center is a war memorial, and the grass around it is part of that. But Kyle Field is just a stadium. No sacred grass, no sacred astroturf, no sacred horseshit flinging, no sacred saber-stabbing of opposing cheerleaders.
  2. Cold Conan's the next day is one of life's greatest joys. The cheese is a solidified mass, though, so you need to really use your teeth to bite through and get proper separation.
  3. Love this thread every year, just remembered to check in on it. I never have anything to contribute because my parents and inlaws are awesome and so is the entire extended family. But I do enjoy reading all of your horror stories and laughing at all of you less fortunate folks!
  4. "We are the Texas Tech of the SEC." Look out, it's becoming self-aware.
  5. I dice them up fine and by the end of the long cook they just melt away, don't change the texture at all. And heaven forbid I get a little more veggie flesh in my diet. I've always thought floating them was kind of silly but I don't know anything about competition cooking.
  6. Yup, Smitty's was my favorite. Now you probably couldn't pay me to eat there. Very sad.
  7. BuT iT's aN seC rOAd NiGHt gAmE!!!
  8. Yes. Theoretically. Because they only have 2 SEC losses. If they beat us, so will we, and they'll own the tie-breaker. Narrator: Texas 8-4 will not play in the SEC CCG.
  9. Yeah they really want that #1 draft pick in April...
  10. Our defense is going to knock Reed's dick into the dirt over and over and over. The aggie o-line is really really turrible, just turrible.
  11. Also, be ready for INTs thrown right into your hands, because Reed kind of sucks at passing.
  12. See? Wasn't that an easier coaching decision?
  13. Auburn is still shitty
  14. Yeah you might want to re-watch on the television. He got hurt at the end of the first half and quite clearly was in pain and not able to play the position well in the second half. As to why the coach didn't send in the backup with a clearly injured and less effective starter? That remains a mystery.
  15. Huh? UPI is the coaches' poll. Only the name/sponsor changed in 1990. It's still the coaches' poll, and has been since 1950.
  16. Superdome is 3' above sea level according to google ai
  17. Definitely Superdome. We did it in... 2001 I think? Great trip.
  18. OK boomer. Just kidding I'm probably a year older than you. I was just out of college and a friend of mine had just bought a house in Westover Hills, with a pool. And he'd also just bought a "big screen TV" which were sort of brand newish at the time, outside of sports bars and Mr. Gatti's. That game started so late we were already pretty lit, and by the end of the game we weren't paying much attention and many shenanigans were afoot, but I do remember thinking, "who is this Ricky kid? He might be pretty good."
  19. CSB! I liked 'em too. Never saw them live though, and never almost lost my kidneys to the lead singer.
  20. And assface Toto's snide smirk while saying, "well there's just nothing we can do about it" even though there actually IS something the racing team principles could do about it.
  21. Damn I just KNEW you were a futureman sock.
  22. The 90s Industrial Rock band Stabbing Westward never has, either.
  23. holy shit again
  24. Agree, B12 has been fun to watch this season. It always was.
