  1. Agree. How do you screw up a red racecar?

There are Texans on this very site that will tell you they eat chili with beans in it. If we can't argue our food snobbery on an internet message board, then what are we even doing here?
  3. Nope, but I do sport my moon boots when the occasion arises.
  4. Sweats under pants? Thermal underwear? Technical fleece? I live in Austin, Texas for the precise reason I don't have to bother with that crap. Sure I'll wear thermal underwear when I'm going snow skiing, but that's an occasion where I'm willingly putting myself into that environment. If/when it gets cold enough for that here at home, I just don't go out in it. Super simple solution. Anyway, looking forward to getting through a last cold snap here, and then on to some warmer weather. Winter has been long enough.
  5. Smaller cars is about the only thing that can help the race. That said, I don't really care. It's Monaco. The day that race drops off the calendar is probably the day I stop watching F1.
  6. Actual footage from when he broke his neck on the show...
  7. Hungry Holes Bondage Classics 13
  8. Wrap outside, open cabinets and drip inside for faucets with water lines in exterior walls.
  9. Same thing as our fan base always bitching that TX-OU kept getting the 11 AM slot, which was simply a result of that being Disney's national time slot and ours being their premier game of the weekend most years. It's the prime network partner's biggest time slot, they'll put their biggest games there.
  10. That's cool. It was still Prince's version, more than Sinead's.
  11. I suspect they'll Hollywood it up and bit and insert some action that doesn't actually occur in the book.
  12. Yeah the arrangement was definitely closer to Prince's version, than Sinead's. And much as I love Prince's music, I've always preferred Sinead's version of that particular song.
  13. And how you can sail all the way around without falling off. I assume the answer is something like this:
  14. Also helps pick out the anti-Plutites.
  15. Because they had nukes and we weren't sure whether or not the Russians loved their children too.
  16. Yeah the Ozzie V8s were absolutely the headliner that weekend.
  17. Rooting for Ferrari is a lot like rooting for Texas football from 2010 - 2022.
  18. Double Whataburger with cheese +bacon, +grilled onions, +grilled jalapenos. As long as they actually cook the bacon, of course. No mayo, you can ignore Futureman on that, everyone else does.
  19. Just beat me to it. A boozy Arnold Palmer is a John Daly.
  20. Thanks, appreciate it. I'm planning on smoking some yardbird tomorrow so I just wanted it taken care of, so I snagged some pecan from Academy. It wasn't cheap but hey, BBQ is now an expensive endeavor so what are you gonna do?
  21. Oh yeah I wasn't doubting you, just citing you. And yes they definitely ran the shorter course for the Ozzie V8s, and I definitely wished they'd run the full course. Having seen NASCAR run the full course, I think I'd be pretty disappointed in watching them run the abbreviated version.
  22. That might work. I'll look for a closer option but beggars can't be choosers.
  23. Argh, also looks like they only deliver and I'm "just a bit outside" of the delivery range.
  24. Thanks. Yeah I run a large offset. It's my wedding dowry from my father in law. I guess I should specify I'm ideally looking in NW Austin/CP but for good deals I can certainly travel and just stock up.
