  1. i’ve seen people theorizing that trossard was trying to play the ball to martinelli and that it was so close to the whistle that he didn’t hear it. i don’t know if that’s the case, it’s possible. what i do know is that any other player on any other team would have gotten the benefit of the doubt.

he is one of the few human beings I feel that got exactly what he deserved for what he did.

if you read up on his story it truly seems that he was a monster that was created largely by forces out of his control. his drug usage and choice of friends are both on him, but those two things aren’t u common among young football stars, and do not come close to making you the type of monster that he became.

by all accounts he was a good kid who was friends with everyone and bullied nobody. was a star in HS but was friendly and self deprecating. he was a hard worker and a kid you’d be proud of. but a combination of having terrible parents and enduring unbelievable levels of repeated brain seems to be mostly to blame for he became such an extreme case. it’s really sad from every angle.

but Oliver gives them 9 minutes of stoppage 🤔🤔🤔

6 minutes of 1H extra time and trossard gets sent off after 7:30 of extra time. how/why that extra 90+ seconds happened, only michael oliver knows.

then you have a second half that just flies by and we get SEVEN minutes of extra time? at this point corruption/conspiracy makes more sense then incompetence. it’s too much.

i would give anything to see a group of epl teams band together and threaten to boycott if something isn’t done by the observably, objectively, repeatedly ubiquitous farce that is epl officiating. get a handful of teams to say we refuse to put our players at risk of injury when the officials are clearly not fit to officiate matches or to protect players. this league is so far beyond your typical shitty officiating it’s criminal.

  5. the sports that i watch the most are mlb baseball, ncaa basketball, and the epl- the holy trinity of bad officiating. for some years now the epl makes those other two league’s officials look world class. the officiating in this league is defiantly shitty. we go play in the champions league and the officials are never the story. can’t have a single epl match day without the officials being the story.

  6. nbc half time crew is disgusted with the sending off, and rightly so. fuck michael oliver, and fuck the fa for letting michael oliver officiate huge games for his buddies who pay him tens of thousands of pounds to do favors for them.

    That seems a tad harsh

this game has been a reboot of american gladiators and then suddenly that’s a sending off. and the guy who made the call just also happens to get paid lots and lots of money to do favors for man city’s owners. ho hum, no big deal.

God damn yall are pussies about this.

Ederson has to be the softest goalie in the league.

we’re upset about this because we’re the only team in this league with any chance of defeating city for the title, and in the year 2024 the only way we ever drop points is from corrupt officiating. yeah, it’s fucking enraging.
