  1. says the reactionary vagina who can’t handle anything that isn’t blind sunshine pumping. i keep posting 10 years of data to back up my takes. this is anything but “reactionary” (you mean reactive). miller lost his fastball a long time ago and is a david pierce level hire at best. imo, obviously. if you’re going to cry about it every time i post then just put me on ignore.
  2. mccasland and oats (and beard) are younger coaches on their way up. miller has been past his prime for a decade now. and unlike those coaches miller doesn’t have a set coaching philosophy, all of his best teams have had different looks. it’s a lot easier to enjoy a crappy first year with an up and coming coach with a concrete identity than it is when you have a guy who’s past his prime and whose best days came when he was cheating.
  3. 14/1 G/D is 😍😍😍.
  4. carragher just told declan that he’s the best midfielder in europe.
  5. in the last five tourneys alabama has been to two sweet 16’s, an elite 8, and a final four.
  6. you don’t have to qualify it like that, oats is easily a top 5 coach in america. it’s maddeningly simple too: when asked about his offensive philosophy oats said, “the three best shots in basketball are a catch and shoot three, a dunk, and a free throw; so that’s what we take.” as painfully obvious as that sounds, it doesn’t occur to most coaches to play this way and recruit to this style. it certainly never occurred to shaka or RT to implement “take good shots” as part of their philosophies or game plans.
  7. hell, chris beard was maybe the biggest name in coaching, was at an in-state rival, had just signed a long term extension that made him the 4th highest paid coach in america, with a huge buyout, and we got him no problem. yes, he’s an alum, i’ll give you that. that doesn’t change how appealing this job is. rick barnes turned down kentucky to stay here 15 years ago. this has been a destination gig for a long time now.
  8. no high level coach is scared of any job, and definitely not this one. UK, Duke, Indiana? sure. there’s a ton of pressure to perform there, right away. not at Texas. budget, city, recruiting ground, expectations, athletic department, the brand, the salary- this is a top 5-10 job in america and has been for a long time. the shaka smart hiring/extension and the chris beard fiasco have made people forget that, but it’s still true. no other job even comes close to having this many perks with such low expectations. it’s a dream job for most coaches.

  10. that’s how you make an impact calafiore!!! COYG!! 🔴⚪️
  11. noni is surprisingly strong, his hold up play is excellent.
  12. i cannot believe we haven’t scored again.
  13. looks like a calf injury, which usually means 1-2 months. hope im wrong, or that it’s very minor.
