  1. uh, in our memories? in the box scores? on the film? in all of the losses vs big time teams where quinn couldn’t move the chains? in all of the close, grind-it-out wins vs crappy teams where QE couldn’t move the chains? the fact that he was ranked 13th in the sec and 200th in the country in qbr? where do you think bijan robinson, anthony hill, colin simmons, michael taaffe, our o line which was a finalist for the joe moore award, gunnar helm, matthew golden, jt sanders, ad mitchell, xavier worthy, jonathan brooks, roschon johnson, kelvin banks, jordan whittington, byron murphy, keondre coburn, t’vondre sweat, jaylan ford, jahdae barron, andrew mukuba, alfred collins, et al ranked? do you think that they were ranked 200th nationally at their positions? were any of them at the very bottom of the conference ratings? dude, we were fucking LOADED during QE’s time here. like 2008-2009 loaded. the only reason we weren’t 2004-2005 loaded is because of our milquetoast, subpar quarterback. we had the best rb room in the country, a top five pass catching group, a top five o line, and the best defense in the nation while quinn was here running from shadows and turtling in the pocket. for you to sit here and act like everyone here doesn’t know for a fact that QE was a weak link on those teams is an insult to all of our intelligence, and an admission on your part that your are a True Believer in QE who is incapable of hearing or processing any truths about him that you don’t want to hear. “where’s the proof that he held the team back?” seriously man? be for real.
  2. yeah well that’s kind of how life works innit? a guy cuts you off in traffic and gives you the finger, you say, “man id love to see that guy get pulled over”, yes? so when a rabid horde of people swear that a qb is better the he is simply because he plays for their favorite team, and i disagree with them using facts, stats, and empirical evidence, and they in turn respond with literal years of ad nauseam personal attacks, up to and including saying really vile things about my mental health, all because i (correctly) said that quinn wasn’t as good as they swore he was, i now don’t like those people, and would like to see them get pulled over. you follow? you guys keep thinking this about quinn. it’s not. the *only* reason i care about this guy or his performances at all is because of the years of harassment and shit talk to me over my completely correct and fact based arguments which never saw me spitting hatred and vitriol over their differing and objectively wrong opinions. that’s how life works. you make my life hell for no reason, i in turn enjoy it when the contentious subject matter makes these juvenile losers spaz the fuck out, so i’m more than happy to return the serve. you can keep getting upset at my QE posts if you want, but if that’s the case you should put me on ignore, because this all comes down to one simple line that this site swears it lives by: don’t start none won’t be none. if y’all didn’t want me posting about QE’s failures today then y’all shouldn’t have bombarded me with personal attacks for so many years over what was, again, a completely valid and accurate opinion which y’all simply didn’t want to hear. sorry, i’m not sorry at all.
  3. yeah, we’ve actually been doing this league since like 2010 or 2011, so i’m glad we were able to make it happen at the last minute this year. as always thanks for your help @Baboontyme, you do all of the heavy lifting for us. crunk to have the season back! good luck fellas!
  4. he threw four straight balls to open the AB vs julio. he’d have been on first with raleigh at the plate if he’d just left the bat on his shoulder.
  5. high fastball working for hoffman.
  6. incredible. naylor been involved in so many of those.
  7. also, how is muñoz not pitching there?
  8. how do you not walk springer and make lukes beat you? crazy decision.
  9. they’re gonna leave kirk on the bases? odd decision.
  10. we came out against kentucky and just abandoned the run from the jump. oklahoma has the #3 run defense in the country and we ran on them just fine, because we actually made it a point of emphasis. sark called every single play vs kentucky like it was 3rd and 8. arch is already limited enough, we didn’t need to make it worse with that inexplicable game plan.
  11. totally fair take for a guy with 9 career starts.
  12. timmy actually wanted it to be earlier because he’s going to the seahawks game tonight. are we cool keeping it where it is? mojo will probably only miss 1-2 picks. i wish espn would let you set a queue before the draft lobby opens.
  13. to this point, Arch still has obvious potential that hasn’t been tapped yet, which is why it’s way premature to give up on him, strictly football-wise. before the season we all expected a clear upgrade at qb that would see us featuring a much improved, more dynamic offense. we were wrong. now, with Arch (and the entire offense) struggling, lots of people are ready to say “fuck it” and move on. those people are also wrong. Arch isn’t as good as we expected him to be, but he’s also nowhere near reaching his ceiling, so let’s stop acting like this is him as a finished product. most of the top college qbs of recent years went and cut their teeth somewhere small-mid, then transferred into a big program, and finally shined in year 4 or 5 as a starter. Arch is in year 1. let’s all calm our tits, take a breath, and see if he doesn’t fuck around and improve as time goes on.
  14. if he benches Arch and someone else comes in and stinks up the place then Sark has sabotaged himself. benching Arch would not only be wildly unpopular in the locker room, it would mean Sark scrapping everything he’s been working on the past three years and losing whatever reputation he still has left. if his replacement struggles- which he will- Saek may as well start looking for houses in State College, PA.
  15. *sunk cost fallacy also, this doesn’t apply after losing three hands of blackjack at a $10 table.
  16. i’m in favor of dumping keepers after this year. this league randomly adopted keepers one season after years of not doing a keeper league. i’ve always wanted to go back.
  17. the most corrupt president ever partnering with the most corrupt governing body in world sports. who could have seen this coming???
  18. i’ve been doing arch (pause) all year. that’s another weird thing about this quinn ewers cult. because they are incapable of admitting that QE isn’t who they thought he would be, they think everyone else is the same. have you read this board this year? do you see anybody here even remotely pleased with Arch? he’s been on the hot seat since like his 5th career start. QE was bad for three years and still had/has people who can’t admit it. the universal negative reaction to Arch’s play (at the beginning of his career, with a far inferior supporting cast) is the strongest proof yet that quinn ewers has a cult like following.
  19. have they announced sec dpow yet? he’s got to be on the shortlist.
