Is 7 not a strike? Is 2 not just off?
if 5 is a strike then 7 is 4-5 inches a over the zone.

center backs and strikers getting absolutely mauled on corners and set pieces- penalty
this one happens multiple times in probably every single professional game that gets played. 99.9% of the fouls called in the box on set pieces/corners go against the attacking team. that’s not right. that’s a glaringly obvious discrepancy. and it’s doubly bad because the attacking team will get called for just being near the keeper as he decides to fall over, meanwhile the defending team knows it can get away with murder and they take advantage of that fact. i’m a little surprised that i don’t hear more people talking about this.

nah, they feel more like the really cold white kid at the private school who just had a kid from south dallas get a scholarship and suddenly their shit ain’t so hot anymore.

I haven't watched community.
obviously there will be some slight spoilers here, but if you don’t mind that, this video is a pretty compelling case as to why you should watch community:

30 Rock, Big Bang Theory, Community, How I Met Your Mother, Modern Family, Parks and Recreation
parks, 30 rock, and community (s1-3) are in one class, then himym and the early seasons of MF are in the next class, followed by the latter seasons of community, then a big gap, then the latter seasons of MF, then 50 feet of crap, then BBT.

My favorite one was when they were talking to Mookie Betts during a spring training game his first year with the Dodgers. Ball smoked down the right field line as they pause for the pitch. Mookie: "Uh oh! Not gonna get that one!"

I legit cannot remember a better defensive performance. And Minnesota is missing their best defensive player.
this is the basketball version of the 2000’s ravens. just physically dominant, fast, and swarming. there’s no room to breathe.

what’s crazy is that it feels like there is zero chance of a second half comeback.
actually it’s not crazy at all lol, wolves have already extended their lead by five since i typed this. denver has been bludgeoned to death in two quarters time.

man i am seriously sweating my nuggets +24.5 1H bet.

murray needs to stop shooting and start facilitating.
-
42-22. unreal.
-
36-20 lead with no gobert for a team that’s never been here before. wolves look scary right now.
-
cannot believe malone got away with that with no technical foul. wow. 😮
-
what a terrible ending to this game. as has been the case in every sport all season long, the officials are hogging the spotlight with their incompetence.
-
that’s a terrible call under the circumstances.

That's where I'm at. Again, I suppose it's all worth it for a franchise that just won its first playoff series in twenty years, but they have a real opportunity to build something sustainable. Once Edwards escalator kicks in, they are going to be damn close to the second apron before next season starts with only 9 guys under contract. It's just not feasible to have three max contracts on your cap any longer with the new CBA. And their ownership situation is messy right now.
does make this a one-year run for this team?

i’m legit just keeping hope alive that city will somehow get two 1H red cards and that their opponent will pounce. as long as we keep winning then it’s all gravy. no need to give up hope yet. i’m so proud of this team. crazier shit has happened. i believe.

to be fair, i’ve watched several games lately where i’ve been seriously impressed with the ball and strike calls. i’m seeing guys out here who are calling it go sisterly all game, and who are essentially calling the same zone as the k zone on tv. there’s definitely some real umpiring talent out there right now, it’s just the cb bucknor, hunter wendelstedt, and angel hernandez assholes that we need out of the game.
