  1. what you have just described does not come remotely close to replacing steph curry’s shooting. his shooting is absolutely irreplaceable. he is 1 of 1.
  2. this reminds me of a kelvin sampson, bob huggins, rick barnes roster. i hope we play with the attitude and intensity of those teams. i truly miss having an identity.
  3. oh yeah, hey, EA: the OU fans have the tunnel end of the cotton bowl; Texas is on the closed in. but i can understand how something so trivial and inconsequential can have slipped by you and your “ZOMFG FIRST TOME THIS HAME IS OUT IN 10 YEARS GUYS!!!” mind frame. losers, all of us.
  4. i love how cj baxter is no.1 on my depth chart, statistically the best rb in the country, and yet he shares carries with two other guys, and there’s apparently nothing i can do about it.
  5. i play dynasty on xbox one. before this game came out i was playing ncaa 06 dynasty on an old 360. it’s the same exact game with better graphics. same exact bullshit EA scripting and cheating. i mean i just love how they program every single cpu db to be hyper aware of every passed ball, breaking on it with expert like precision, and accruing pick-6’s like parking tickets while my goddamn cpu controlled wr’s just act like they have no fucking clue that a ball is being thrown in their general direction. madden, ncaa, fifa, it’s a constant- the cpu players are programmed to be 100% on top of everything while your cpu-controlled teammates are programmed to go full retard, completely oblivious to the athletic competition taking place all around them. that, and the “big game” EA adjustments (ie scripting- every game feels the same until you play OU, play in the playoffs/title game etc and then suddenly the cpu is OPOPOPOPOP) i’d all list all too familiar. everyone who paid for this game, including me, is a fat fucking stupid loser who deserves all of the bad things that are going to happen to you as you play this game. shame on you. shame on us.
  6. any chance we can get them to procreate? offer the kid a scholarship in utero?
  7. getting silver would have been one of the all time choke jobs in the entire history of sports. if you’re going to pick your squad based on politics and butthurt feelings, you can’t lose. this team nearly did, and that’s a huge deal because the US women’s basketball team is arguably the most dominant force in all of world sports, the one team that should never ever ever lose. the generals should beat the globetrotters before usa women’s basketball loses. to have made the selection process to petty and political and then to go and nearly lay the biggest egg of all time- yeah, just another bad look on a long line of bad looks for women’s basketball.
  8. usa escapes embarrassment and humiliation in the gold medal game. maybe next time they’ll bring all of their best players, and leave the octogenarians at home.
  9. sometimes you watch a sporting event, and as you’re watching it, it maybe as the day unfolds you realize that you’re watching something truly historic. steph’s 4Q heroics today was that, especially/exclusively because of how hard team usa had to work to come back and beat serbia. everyone knew coming in to take nothing for granted. the last time i remember experiencing an event/day like today was the argentina vs france world cup final. none of us will ever forget today. this was some all-time classic shit here. steph, kd, and bron playing together managed to somehow exceed expectations over these last two games. just unreal.
  10. speaking of which, has anyone checked in on garrett crochet?
  11. Ian Eagle’s kid should do every major basketball game for the next 40 years. he’s the steph curry of broadcasting.
  12. no real thread for this, so i’m just gonna drop it off right here:
  13. devin williams k’s the side to record his first save since back surgery.
