  1. is this gonna be every single post you make in this thread? you don’t have to keep chiming in every five minutes to say the exact same useless shit about “hypotheticals”, especially since the gulf in class between Arch and QE is vast, and evident to anyone whose nose isn’t five inches deep into quinn’s asshole. “if we’d have played our best players we’d probably have done better” isn’t the crazy hypothetical you’re making it out to be, and even if it was, we’ve heard you already mrs.ewers. you can stop repeating yourself now.
  2. two of those TDs came in OT because bert missed a chip shot FG that would have won us the game. Quinn was pretty terrible during regulation and if Texas doesn’t have a pumpkin pie haircutted freak for a kicker then QE’s statistical day vs ASU sucks.
  3. we broke the bank for beard, got to no.1 in kenpom in november of his second year, and made the elite 8 that same season *after* enduring the biggest scandal of the cbb season. with how badly we’ve fallen off since then it will not surprise me to see us break the bank again. moody sent we wasn’t built to be half full.
  4. this is awesome: https://x.com/davidharns/status/1895296614673334396?s=46
  5. just went ahead and reached out to someone i trust, and he said that this search will *not* just be cdc making the call. said that cdc will be involved, but that the big money collective has gotten together and have basically said, “its time” to make a big boy move, and as such they will have a lot of say and sway in the matter. said oats is at the top of the list.
  6. whenever CDC does make his hire it’s not quinn snyder, and the guys like gerry get the information at the same time as/shortly after some of our own posters, that’ll be everyone’s reminder that those guys don’t know shit.
  7. so quinn gets hurt all of the time, and whenever he returns from injury he plays like he’s scared to death to get hit again. that’s on top of him just not being a good qb in any aspect of the position- passing, running, reading defenses, making plays with your feet, etc. the fact that this guy is going to get drafted at all makes no sense to me. who in the hell would look at his body of work, to wit: terrible decision to leave HS early, run off from tOSU, shows up at Texas fat and unkempt, plays poor-mediocre football while getting injured all of the time- and think, “yeah, my nfl football team needs to draft that guy”?
  8. and 80-85% of his passing yards that day were YAC yards. quinn’s absolute inability to hit wr’s downfield is going to make matthew golden a ton of money. nobody (from Texas) benefitted more from QE’s struggles than Golden who took full advantage of catching all of those short passes and taking them 20, 30, 40 more yards downfield. the box score from that day looks great for quinn, but the tape is nothing but short, one-read throws after which his pass catchers gained chunks of yards on their own.
  9. this is the exact reason we should have benched QE for Arch. there is not another position on the field where a player can perform as consistently poorly a QE did without losing his job. we made the playoffs *despite* QE and his absolute inability to move the chains, forget about scoring the ball. we made the playoffs despite struggling mightily to move the ball and score against georgia, vandy, arkansas, kentucky, a&m, georgia again, and finally, ohio state. quinn was also hot garbage vs arizona state, and had bert auburn hit a chip shot FG then QE never gets those two OT tds ends that game/his college career on an absolute downward spiral. you guys keep making the exact argument as to why Arch should have played and you don’t even realize it. QE made everything harder for both his own offense and defense. he clearly, empirically inferior to Arch Manning in almost everything required of a winning QB. the more he started, the more he proved this. sark had a whole lot going on that led to his decision to stick with quinn, it quinn being better than arch wasn’t on that list.

  11. todd mcshay effusively praising jahdae. says he’s a top 10 player in the draft. https://x.com/ringer/status/1895249274130092223?s=46
  12. why making a good pass right into the shooting pocket is so important: https://x.com/cbkreport/status/1895326422446809178?s=46
  13. that’s right, uga is four spots ahead of us in kenpom, which has us winning 73-70. game preview:
  14. damn. i figured. she was way too informed and polished in her arguments to be maga. and that’s what sucks: the magats will never ever ever listen to any facts, data, or science that goes against what they’ve dug themselves into believing, unless it comes from another magat, and even then it’s a long shot. all we can do is hope that enough of them FAFO to the point that the great awakening actually takes place.
  15. colt mccoy played behind two o lines that were vastly inferior to QE’s last two o lines and he finished runner up for the heisman both times. colt also had to be his teams leading rusher and never had the likes of bijan robinson or jonathan brooks to take pressure off him. unfortunately QE is closer to case mccoy than colt mccoy when it comes to making plays outside of his first read, and his errant passes, self sacking, and general skittishness made the OL’s job that much harder. the OL did a lot more for QE the last two years than the other way around.
  16. i hope that the lady in the turtleneck has a shit ton of maga followers. maybe they’ll listen to her.
  17. if we are left out of the tourney field, not only should we decline an invite to the NIT, but if we did accept an invite to the NIT then i would expect Tre to sit that out and prepare for the draft, which is all the more reason to decline in the first place.
  18. i just want to make it clear that you’re on the record as saying that everything that arch has done to this point is invalid because it was done against unserious competition, and that in your mind, he’s proven nothing, is an unknown commodity, and all we can do is cross our fingers and hope that he’s good next year. because that ^^^ is what every single post you’re making in this thread says.
  19. i want you to come to this thread in april when the draft is over and rank every UT player that’s been drafted over the last two years in terms of how good/impactful they were at Texas. can’t wait to see where quinn ranks among the likes of jahdae barron, xavier worthy, jonathan brooks, kelvin banks, t’vondre sweat, jaylan ford, ad mitchell, jt sanders, etc. and then, after the 2026 draft, you can come in here and do it again, including every guy who QE played with at Texas, adding names like bijan robinson, colin simmons, anthony hill, and arch manning. you’re right that this is easy and stupid, but you’re wrong about why it’s easy and stupid.
