so, a bicycle kick, an olímpico, a stoppage time worldie, and a goal from their own half. i doubt there’s ever been a game so thoroughly enjoyable for the home fans.

dead last in the country in eFG% and 3p shooting, third to last in 2p shooting, and they get their shots blocked 17% of the time. second to last in the country at forcing turnovers, third to last in allowing offensive rebounds.
lotta people defended this schedule before the season. mike of them seem to be watching the games or talking about them now. imagine that.
i mean what are we doing.
how is it that michael oliver, famously on city’s payroll and famous for inventing new ways to fuck over arsenal, is officiating a huge arsenal match this week which will directly affect man city? epl officiating is corrupt.
also, this is the product of the commoditization of victimhood. gen z in particular (although no generation is immune) seems to wake up every day and hop out of bed and into a dead sprint to see who can be victimized the fastest and most egregiously. the way that this girl is screaming into her phone, “THIS IS A MAN’S WORLD, I AM THE VICTIM!!!!” so desperate for validation actually made me feel sad for her. she’s *so* focused on her own (mostly self created) victimhood that it’ll never occur to her that she could have handled this differently, and that living a life where you identify as a victim is no way to live at all.
so it shows 7 projected wins on the conference slate, but kenpom’s actual projected conference w/l is 8-12 because he’s got some stuff added into his equations to take into account that his predicted outcomes won’t always hit. so you see the vandy and ou losses at 45% chance to win and the a&m loss as a 49% chance to win, and between those three projected losses is probably where you get that 8th projected win.
there’s a whole bunch of references in the comments to the fact that the door was supposedly only cracked open, and that the delivery driver opened all the way herself and then started recording, which, if true, would definitely make a difference.
a male patron made a doordash order to be “left at the door”, and when the female dasher arrived he was seemingly asleep on his couch with his pants around his ankles. he recorded it and posted it online claiming she’d been sexually assaulted, and now she’s been fired and she says the police aren’t helping. opinions are divided: some say she’s the victim and is being treated unfairly (she definitely seems to be spiraling as she identifies as the victim while her employer and the police seek to disagree), while others say that her posting him nude in his own home online actually makes her the perpetrator and him the victim. i personally think the guy knew what he was doing, but i also don’t think she’s handled it well.
jt sanders with a big catch to convert on 4th down for carolina, two plays later the panthers score the go-ahead td from 45 yards out.
