  1. i agree with your post overall, but the reason for this is that the 10,000th best men’s player in the world is better at his respective sport than the 100th best women’s player is at hers.
  2. this is true, but we couldn't have picked a better time to employ a guard like that, with such a deep and talented team. at the end of the game you still have j’covan at the pg position who is a killer FT shooter, and you still have avery bradley as an equal/superior defender. doj was sixth on the team in minutes but had a huge impact on winning, yet ive only ever known a handful of fans who truly appreciated him. i’m sure a huge part of that is everyone’s infatuation with j’covan brown who was irrefutably the inferior player between the two when they were teammates.

    Bronny James

i wonder if any of his gen z opponents are talking crazy shit to him about his dad, his contract, and how sorry he is, or if that part of the game no longer exists for players his age.

    dalton knecht tho. 🔥🔥🔥
  5. doj is the second or third best guard we had in transition under barnes. only TJ was clearly better. doj was also as good of a perimeter defender as we’ve ever had. he’d go from locking up michigan state’s PG kalin lucas to putting the clamps on 6’7” big xii poy james anderson like it was nothing. he had an extremely high iq and had one of the best ast/to ratios we’ve ever had. he was also an elite athlete. for as bad as he was at shooting he was equally great at the things he was good at. the 2009/10 team had two PGs each playing ~25 mpg (iirc) who if combined would have made the perfect PG. take the opposite of everything i just said and you have j’covan brown. totally unathletic, low basketball iq, hated defending, but could really, really score. if you combined their strengths you’d have a first team all american. still, Doj is one of the most underrated players we’ve ever had because he was such a poor shooter. before that team collapsed it was the best UT team ever, and Doj was the perfect pg for that team turning defense into offense in the blink of an eye. he did so much that wasn’t obvious at an elite level, he just absolutely could not shoot or really score. i’ll always love that guy, and it’s a shame that team collapsed the way it did.
  6. AI led the league in steals three years in a row, i’m sure he could make it happen.
  7. this post dedicated to poo raggy. 🙏🏼
  8. captain cumshot turned himself in after the video went viral:
  9. one of our OG soccer posters (maybe fireman’s?) made a post way back in cherundolo’s playing days that i never forgot because it made me laugh. it was the 2H of a game in some tournament (gold cup?) and we needed to score and cherundolo decided to try and smash one from waaaay out. the post said, “30 yards out and Dolo is feeling it.” lol. thats what it feels like the ussf is doing with this hire. instead of doing a real search, aka trying to get the best look on goal possible, the ussf is going to reach out to klopp just so they can say they tried, and then do the easy, comfortable thing and hire another usmnt retread, instead of actually doing a real search that might end up with us having the best chance to hire a top tier, qualified coach. whatevs. getting rid of gregg is a huge win regardless. still, i have zero faith in the ussf to actually even try to accomplish anything noteworthy with the usmnt.
  10. i’d just rather hire pretty much anyone with major national team tournament experience.
  11. also it’s been amusing over the last 24-36 hours watching a million different people on twitter all acting they were the first person to consider him as a potential candidate. as far as the available and interested coaches he go he’s one of the more obvious candidates.
  12. well according to that tweet it’s either him or cherundolo, so be careful what you wish for. also, hasn’t renard won afcon with two different countries? he’d be a massive upgrade over gregg and he’s got experience at major international tourneys.
