  1. Come on man 🤣 it was a joke in response to someone telling me I got the orange wrong. I mix paint often, very capable of matching colors. The only reason it was off is lighting in pictures. Again, a joke back to someone giving me a hard time. So eager to dish it, so sensitive when it's coming your way 🥱 The owner of the site reached out to me on LinkedIn-- I am 100% down to collab
  2. And can we get the orange right? weird, I looked for your work, and didn’t see anything
  3. I mostly do cut and sew on cleats these days. So not painting nearly as much as before. As an example, taking a base cleat, making patterns, and sewing leather onto the base cleat to transform it into a Jordan 11
  4. I’m here to learn for sure. I’d love to have a conversation with you outside of this thread. I legitimately care about these athletes and the Austin community so any advice is welcome.
  5. This is correct. That’s awesome. RIP Virgil I have started to get these projects sponsored with local Austin businesses as an NIL deal with myself and the athlete. if y’all know of any companies looking to get into the NIL space or would like to collab with me, send them my way. looking forward to share more this season. Boot Up ——> Horns Up?
  6. Haha thanks for all the replies, even the haters. I'm working with X, JBrooks, and maybe a couple other Texas guys in the league. First UT project this year is with Jahdae Barron in a couple weeks.
  7. What’s good Surly Horns? Wanted to share this custom cleat project with Xavier Worthy from last season. Please move to main football board, would only let me post to this one? My name is Michael Anderson and an artist and the owner of Boot Up Customs. I’m from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and currently live in Austin, Texas. For full transparency, I am an LSU alum and die hard Tiger fan. However, since moving to Austin and working with several players on the football team, I’ll be rooting for Texas whenever they’re not playing my Tigers. Here’s a link to an Instagram reel showing the art process and delivery with X: I have several projects the team this season and really excited to continue my relationships at UT. Big stuff coming soon. You can find me on IG @get.like.mike and @bootupcustoms. Boot Up!
