  1. You don’t understand the idea that people get upset by actions or words from others? I don’t believe you
  2. Are you talking about the prisons in TX without air conditioning? Or some other allegedly not horrible option?
  3. Approving the design and then the subsequent attempts to bring the “cyber truck” to market should have been enough cause for Tesla shareholders to remove Elon as CEO.
  4. I wouldn’t be surprised if it all just was one billionaire propping up the “buying tickets for others” scheme
  5. Twitter already tried a chatbot, right? Pretty sure it quickly became a racist holocaust denier. So he wants a generative AI program that doesn’t have safeguards? Cool project Elon
  6. Oh and let’s all collectively forget about the harm Trump’s administration did by separating hundreds of children (some breastfeeding infants) from their parents for families seeking asylum. Some of whom were never reunited with their families. Or what about the children who died in Texas’ foster care system? Not some made up conspiracy but actual harm to actual children. Disingenuous bullshit. “SAVE THE CHILDREN!!!1! Oh, ew, not those ones”
  7. I mean isn’t this just pizzagate all over again? First, drum up hysteria about children being abused. Then blame political opponents for causing the abuse. Then some asshole drives hundreds of miles with automatic weapons to “save the children”
  8. Investing in American infrastructure, green jobs, and things like bringing semiconductor manufacturing stateside are helping the economy. Just look at unemployment and inflation. tl;dr - Dem administrations fix the economy after republicans wreck it
  9. I’m curious to know what lies about Art Briles that Clay Travis thinks the media needs to acknowledge they were wrong about
  10. Don’t get caught up in the language. We’re saying the same thing- I’m just using the accepted term of art for what Northwestern did
  11. Also just because an internal investigation came to a favorable conclusion for the administration that paid for it doesn’t mean that the results (or methods) are above reproach
  12. Bullshit. The hazing described was institutional and there’s no way he didn’t know what was happening in his own locker room
  13. She knew how to check the air pressure on the tires but didn’t add air to fill up the one slightly off? And needed him to drive 50 miles to do what exactly? I’d definitely give that guy shit for wasting 2 hrs of his own time on that BS
  14. Turns out being an unrepentant asshole has consequences
  15. Also Rahm Emmanuel who the character was loosely based off of
  16. I mean, I’m not one of these surlys but legislated restrictions on free speech need to pass strict scrutiny, which generally means the govt must have a compelling interest and the law is narrowly tailored to that interest. Just because minors aren’t adults doesn’t mean they’re not entitled to rights of speech (although that can be limited in school settings). So yes, it can be challenged. Probably both by people under 18, as well as by adults who are prevented from accessing social media without providing ID.
  17. Did you know a French omelette typically has none of those things and it’s also something learned early in culinary school? Have you ever watched Top Chef? Tom Colicchio loves asking the contestants to make him an omelette. There was more thought out into why the character would make an omelette that way other than just “this would taste good”
