  1. Oh now you want to argue nuance and legality? Let’s start with that law about in the presence of physicians was blocked last November by the court. I’d rather stick my hand in a blender than continually point out the weakness of the legal basis to say “it’s not legally permissible” to distribute the drug in Kansas. As per usual, the facts be damned you insufferable troll
  2. I really hope that comment about the $100 million payout clause is true.
  3. Except this corporate statement doesn’t clarify anything because Walgreens made the decision to pull the drug from Kansas (where abortion is protected by state constitution) based on weak reasoning from Kobach (and other Republican Attorneys General) that the Comstock Act prohibits its distribution. Based on a fig leaf, Walgreens can pull the drug in that state and still say “it isn’t legally permissible”. It’s just mealy mouthed damage control
  4. If you find yourself needing to begin a story telling everyone you’re not a racist, maybe not a great sign
  5. Until the National Guard finally showed up. They should have zip tied and given to the police for processing everyone they encountered
  6. Exactly. They could have burnt the bodies
  7. “Everything happens for a reason”
  8. All of this looks like an ADA lawsuit. You can’t have much stronger “I was fired bc my disability” proof than direct comments from the CEO that ridicule his accommodations and claim he “never worked” because of his MS Yeah - this guy is right
  9. I’m sure she’s unbiased and reliable
  10. Do you think KFC is still open?
  11. I have no insight into actual knowledge of the game or story but I just assumed locking all the infected away in tunnels created bad shit. I mean while some realism connects us to the show - it’s about a zombie apocalypse. I’m comfortable with not knowing the ins and outs of every fucked up danger.
  12. Dude this last episode was wild. I can see feeling meh about the mall flashback but this one advanced the story, showed new depth of the characters and was full of suspense and violence. Different strokes and all that but maybe you don’t like the show?
  13. The check raise all in on the river smells all kind of bad. You didn’t make it cheap for him to chase with a pair and a flush draw, so I don’t think you did anything wrong. Sucks - I don’t think I would have folded there either
  14. Sounds like someone who hasn’t spent a lot of time in Baltimore
  15. No one would give a shit if he was hitting deep balls with any regularity.
  16. Cheeeeeeeeeeeese - didn’t we lock you in a dumpster one time?
  17. It’s certainly unfortunate but is this all that big of a surprise? With the state of things in Mexico it’d be almost more shocking if 4 US citizens in a white minivan *werent* kidnapped for ransom by a cartel after crossing the border
  18. The Statesman is too busy putting out amazing journalistic pieces like this: “Chili’s Forever: How a Chain Restaurant Became Austin’s Favorite Spot” https://www.statesman.com/restricted/?return=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.statesman.com%2Fstory%2Fentertainment%2Fthings-to-do%2F2023%2F03%2F06%2Fchilis-austin-texas-45th-lamar-grill-bar-restaurant%2F69858974007%2F
  19. Aren’t most of the buildings just licensing deals? Like he’s paid just for use of his name but he doesn’t have any actual ownership. Definitely spot on as to the country club/golf course scams
  20. At first I thought “is this going to be a heart breaking character story like with Bill and Frank or Henry and Sam?” lol nope
  21. Yeah wow- that was fucking intense
