  1. Yes. I don’t think he will insist on being the GM, and will actually hire a football guy for that role
  2. I think that first category is a remnant of Raegan’s demonization of people on welfare and is largely made up by people on the right. That second category of low info Fox/FB/Newsmax voters is real and a significant percentage of Trump’s voting base
  3. Also let’s not pretend that all these GOP primary voters won’t fall in line behind Trump just like the last two elections.
  4. Outside of TX I don’t think this rates as a defining HS movie for kids of any age
  5. It’s not a rule. The Atlanta owners are trying to show how competent they are after Arthur Smith
  6. It’s a little shocking he has to interview at all
  7. To me it might make sense if he’s scared of being ousted as CEO. Maybe 25% controlled by him and 26% is controlled by friends so it’s a magic number to guard against 50.1% of shareholders voting to remove him.
  8. This is a good list. I’d add a couple of the most Gen X movies were Reality Bites and Empire Records
  9. That game ultimately was the greatest gift Jerry Jones could give any sports writer or tv analyst heading into the offseason. I guarantee it will be talked about nationally until next season starts
  10. I’m sorry but Gen Z was not in HS in 2007
  11. Or the Giants after beating the Vikings last year
  12. This is a red herring. The OL is subpar and Pollard is remarkably average.
  13. *when* McCarthy gets fired it will be fun for a minute tricking ourselves into believing we will hire a good coach (I mean Bellicheck is still available) but we’ll end up with Frank Reich
  14. Both lines need an overhaul. Also I’ve got $ that says McCarthy is fucking fired.
  15. Won’t the fines be levied against the Trump Org and not Trump himself? And the independent monitor can sell off physical real estate assets within the jurisdiction to pay off the fines, assuming cash assets aren’t enough. I’m pretty sure the only individual consequence from this case would be a ban from doing business in NY. And lol at the idea of Trump filing bankruptcy. His popularity hinges on the idea that he’s rich. He won’t give that up
  16. I think this is pretty optimistic given we just let his contract expire and hired him back anyway
  17. Except in this case corporate assets are already in control of an independent monitor preventing sale/transfer/etc so the state can actually execute on a judgement when appropriate
