  1. Nothing earth shattering today. And nothing personal against the B12, but I like the idea of a Pac12 with SDSU and Fresno or SMU or Boise. Hope it happens, I hate to see any school relegated from P5 to G5. But will the Pac get past their snobbery to do it? I doubt they'll ever take Boise because of how steep the difference is in academics, though on the field they've historically earned an upgrade more than any other current G5. But SDSU would be a solid second on that earned it list. Most aren't aware because of the crappy tv options. Heck, I was gung ho on adding SDSU and Boise to the B12 to get to 14, into CA, and more late game options. Not gonna happen now. (Sorry, Memphis is meh and their on the field results are well behind Fresno. BTW, Colorado St is the most overrated joke of an expansion candidate. Results and tv ratings are terrible compared to most other options.)
  2. Are stories underreporting the Fulmer Culpability? Phil hired as AD on Dec.1, 2017, Pruitt hired Dec. 7, 2017. All because their pyromaniac fan mobs revolted against the Schiano hiring. And prophetically designed the program's tombstone last fall:
  3. And the still unpaid players probably ratted them out. Peyton's idea of paying them with leftover 80's's phone calling cards didn't work, because obsolete tech didn't work.
  4. Used to be with the Jets. Doubled down, so his 15 minutes of fame probably end tomorrow afternoon: I tried checking some message boards. Claims to be ISU fan and Des Moines journo but nothing on his tweets today in ISU's realignment thread. 247 writer for FSU said 2 hours ago that he hasn't heard any rumblings and nothing seems imminent with the Pac. 'Strong' expansion candidate SD St doesn't even have a 247 message board... In other news reported by that Flagstaff 'journo' who tweeted this morning AZ, WA, and Utah to B12: @name having no visible relation to the claimed name is always a good sign. From a blue check: Boise St Jobs Corps coming across as maybe not an optimal academic, cultural fit... He's got future Chairman written all over him.
  5. Looks like we knew a little German (His night is over there....)
  6. Too much Yankees trash in the building. Bagel gnawing carpetbaggers.
  7. Updated: Fri: 7:30 (AppleTV+): Houston at Utah (Beth Mowins & Katie Nolan) Sat: 11 AM (NBC): Tech at Cincy (Jac Collinsworth & Jason Garrett) 11 AM (USA): UCF at KU (Phil Liggett & Bob Roll) 2:30 (CBS): Baylor at Okla St (Nick Burleson, Noah Eagle, & Gabrielle Nevaeh Green) 2:30 (USA): Arizona at WV (Seton, McLovin, & Johnny Weir) 6:30 (NBC): Iowa St at K-St (Mike Florio & Keith Olberman) 9:30 (ESPN2): TCU at BYU (Pam Ward & Booger McFarland) 9:30 (ESPNU): Colorado at Arizona St (Tony Kornheiser & Chris Childers) Rumors that USA will get half of the ESPN B16 After Dark slots (Rob Estes and Mitzi Kapture)
  8. Pretty wild having a simultaneous double squeeze play from cars and motorbikes. Pretty sure I heard, "Dammit Chloe!" out of Jack Bauer. Loved seeing JV grab the yellow, but thought for sure TP would soon grab it back. Then after JV kept holding it and making this a good race, unexpectedly I started rooting for TP to win it back for Paris. But that sportsmanship move today by JV changed that.
  9. AZ and Utah know that they could end up like ORSU and WSU, easily left out by the B12 should the Pac breakup. ASU is in a market 5 times the size of Tucson and BYU is already in the B12, so their best chance of getting an invite is to act now and be the first dominoes to fall. That said, message boarders should Google "Inertia". Any $$$ difference between future Pac and future B12 is likely not significant enough to warrant the upheaval of a conference jump. Probably other factors would have to swing the decision. Along with former Pepperdine Law dean Ken Starr.
  10. Gotta save the 16th spot for Notre Dame. This is why that SidelinesShowBob129613623 report is wrong. Naw, Pepperdine will save the Pac.
  11. Looks like Wilner thinks they may need a landing spot, in the last few weeks he ditched his long time twitter avatar of Fauci's face on the Heisman.
  12. He bailed out, so the onus is on Ainias to still show?
  13. Maybe the B12 going for just 6 is being polite and respecting California's preference, since they're pretty much all on CA's boycott list.
  14. Tom Rinaldi, for the 100th time in the broadcast, asking Stanton to tell the story of how he hit his home run to where he may have sat in the stands once growing up. Except this time, in Rinaldi style, he hit it to the exact seat where he would always sit on his grandpapa's lap at Dodgers games, the seat where grandpapa had caught home runs from Jackie Robinson, and the seat where his grandpapa died in from cancer exactly 10 years ago to the day.
