  1. Yeah we definitely agree there. I’ve said as much in different places here. The script was out on Texas. Rush without abandon because Quinn can’t hurt you. And it did work.
  2. It always sucks to lose. It always hurts. If we don’t care it wouldn’t, but we do care because it’s part of who we are. It’s part of our life. And this comes from someone that didn’t attend Texas. I’m one of those “tshirt” fans. Most of us have bonded with someone over this sport and with this school and team. It’s special, unlike anything else. For me, that’s with my parents. I was born in Texas, but grew up in Oklahoma. I remember my dad watching those Red River games, rooting for Texas and over the years that’s what instilled in me a love for the Longhorns. It wasn’t easy in Oklahoma, but it hardened me as a fan. We made two games this year in Austin…Florida and Clemson. As they get older, I know there is less of this in the future. But for the time being, I will enjoy every damn second I can. Texas football has given us excitement again, playing for championships. And even tho I’m not an alum, I love Texas sports and am emotionally invested because of the bond I share with my parents watching and rooting for the Horns. It’s always Hook’em 🤘🏽
  3. That’s painful to hear. I felt especially in the UGA and ASU games outside zone was getting exploited by the opposing defense.
  4. Ewers not being a run threat in the slightest made it easier for defenses to attack the OL And the RB for sure. Offense should be more potent with Manning
  5. I mean then maybe it’s Sark not listening, because something isn’t adding up
  6. It’s really stupid when running outside hadn’t worked all day or even last game. It was an absolute disaster of a play call. I really hope we get some coaches to analyze our play calling and give advice on how are plays are being run. We need defense recognition from our WRs and QBs to attack different coverages by changing routes. We need to not over engineer plays and instead have quicker decisions. Sark needs to realize there is lots for him to learn.
  7. It’s been tough watching the OL with the expectations, and the talk of how big and great they are. the reality was that they never really looked comfortable moving, or reach blocking. And they certainly struggled in blitz pickup for whatever reason. too often, the quick feet of a DL player would beat our guys to a spot, blowing up the play, or the strength of a DL player would just overpower the OL. That became the number 1 way to beat us, because Quinn couldn’t escape and the run game couldn’t get going. for all the talk of big humans, that is effectively all they were from guard to guard. They weren’t a plus in strength or footwork. They were just big.
  8. Anyone with a brain think was. Sark needs a play caller.
  9. We need guys that can move if we are gonna run outside. Otherwise that shit is fucking stupid
  10. Absolute shit play calling on the 1. dont fucking run outside was the simplest thing to not do. Fucking stupid
  11. Just repeating what everyone is saying
  12. Fuck outside zone
  13. Big humans feel like stone footed bitches
  14. They seem lost out there. And the blitzes aren’t even disguised
  15. Join the club. Many of us were done with him after the Washington game last season. He's not it. A ton of hype and that's it. He was last on the Ohio State depth chart for a reason. And yet we’ve been shit on for our takes on him when it’s clear to anyone with a fucking brain
  16. starting to look promising
  17. Isn’t his girlfriend there too?
  18. I’ve had an issue with our receivers sitting down in zone all year. I’m not sure what they are being coached but I feel like they run a route vs adapting to coverage more often than not. Sometimes those routes are long developing too and had they sat in a soft part of the zone we could get easy completions. additionally I think the script is out on attacking our offense… double LB blitz in the A gap. It’s what ASU tried on 4 and 13 and we fortunately saw it before it fired off. But we struggled with it against UGA too. Some of our plays are too slow and it allows for blitzing defenses to blitz without abandon. Clemson almost achieved this in that lucky screen pass from Ewers to Helm. sark thinks the slow developing will hold defenses and confuse them, however defenses have decided to fore go reacting and instead just come blasting in to disrupt everything. The defenses are starting to win if they can time it up with snap cadence and not allow us to check protections.
  19. Yeah that’s why I was saying it early in the game. It took a while for ND to finally just accept it
  20. I guess everyone was right.. it was a down year for the SEC
  21. ND bullied that UGA defense down the stretch. Running QB made the difference
