  1. Along with posters' number of posts and rep total, there ought to be a display of the number of people who have a given poster on ignore.
  2. Amazon, translate into English: "I appreciate Mike's work in taking a holistic view of what changes need to be made so that we have a baseball program that meets our high standards." Sure, boss. I am fluent in over 6 million forms of communication. Here is that translation from EATME into English: "I was authorized to offer the baseball job to any of three candidates, and they all said no. I have not been fired yet for my own failures. Someone will let you know if I am fired or if I am authorized to pick any other new baseball coach."
  3. Which, combined with the 2025 first-round data above would suggest an inverse influence relationship between quality (as measured by proximity to the first pick in the draft) and propensity to play close to home. Call me crazy, but I would rather let the ags have the locals who "just get them" while we build a fighting force of extraordinary magnitude.
  4. Arguing that further data feels to one as though it would, if gathered, refute existing data is one way to support one's argument, I suppose.
  5. It cracks me up when bootstrappers and coattail-riders who were all too happy to ditch the border conference swell with indignation at our leaving them in the conference(s) into which they begged/extorted us to get them admission.
  6. A badass who isn't afraid will go a long way.
  7. Reminds me of the tragedy of Bob the bridge builder.
  8. Bag game gonna bag game Makes me glad Texas does it the way it does
  9. Jimbo only 2 slots above Patterson? No justice, no peace!
  10. It is only fair that those who have freeloaded their college education at institutions that would not otherwise have accepted them, let alone given them scholarships, continue to receive largesse granted by the hand of power brokers from the actual pockets of young men who work their asses off to excel at sports that actually generate revenue. Comrade Lenin would shake your hand, comrade Campbell, if he were but alive in the flesh. Or, maybe, and I am just spitballing here, we should not use willingness and ability to play woman's soccer as our criterion for to whom we should allocate our post-secondary educational resources, nor to whom we should allocate the fruits of football players' labor and fame.
  11. That seems like the 3 seed would be better than 1/2. Too much time off, miss out on extra home game for fans and non-ticket revenue.
  12. This. He essentially admits it in his denial, merely claiming that he brought it to an end. Well, one must remember that different languages treat double negatives differently. Take Spanish for example. In Sharp's defense, we may not be familiar with the intricacies of EATME (East Anglo-Texan Moronic English, also known more succinctly as Anglo-Texan Moron or ATM).
  13. Should make the rule that the QB can't advance the ball unless a defender first rushes him across the LOS or the QB counts 5 Mississippi out loud. Neighborhood ball rule.
  14. <MBTF> "I'll take this one. Let's Raff at BYU."
  15. Leg surgery. Could have been a PE as well. 🤷‍♂️
  16. Anyone who has had a body temperature over 60 degrees F within the last year could bulldoze through aggy correspondence courses easily, same for earn an aggy degree. Ol Rock was walking across the stage to graduate in Reed Arena, but unfortunately he failed his last course at Texas A&M-- Math. Honorary PhD recipient and keynote speaker Billy Luicci says to him: “Well Ol Rock, we will let you graduate if you can solve one single math problem for us” Ol Rock agrees and the Looch says “what is 2x2?” Ol Rock thinks for a second and says “12, Sir!” And the crowd screams “Give him another chance! give him another chance!” Taking pity on the Ag, Looch says “Alright Ol Rock, you have one more chance! What is 12 times 1?” Ol Rock smiles and says “12, Sir!” And the crowd screams “give him another chance! Give him another chance!”
  17. Wow. The oddsmakers only see (bet worthy, at least) 3 as their non-cupcake win floor.
  18. We can hope for a close loss against Michigan, blowouts against the cupcakes, and an undeserved/ref-aided squeaker past Auburn before we blow them out. Parlay that humiliating mid-season collapse into an 8-4 finish that includes a promising late-season performance against who cares. Keep BV, rinse and repeat. Or better yet, go 0-12, pay the buyouts, and hire someone who turns out to be worse.
  19. Campbell is seeded way too low. BOMC
  20. I vote straight ticket PFJ. A pox on all of you Romans!
  21. That may be, but I think you may have flipped the usual senses of accuracy and precision.
