Tell Me About Texas a&m
Anyone who has had a body temperature over 60 degrees F within the last year could bulldoze through aggy correspondence courses easily, same for earn an aggy degree. Ol Rock was walking across the stage to graduate in Reed Arena, but unfortunately he failed his last course at Texas A&M-- Math. Honorary PhD recipient and keynote speaker Billy Luicci says to him: “Well Ol Rock, we will let you graduate if you can solve one single math problem for us” Ol Rock agrees and the Looch says “what is 2x2?” Ol Rock thinks for a second and says “12, Sir!” And the crowd screams “Give him another chance! give him another chance!” Taking pity on the Ag, Looch says “Alright Ol Rock, you have one more chance! What is 12 times 1?” Ol Rock smiles and says “12, Sir!” And the crowd screams “give him another chance! Give him another chance!”

OU Football 2025 - Cheated Its Way To a Backdoor CFP Appearance
Wow. The oddsmakers only see (bet worthy, at least) 3 as their non-cupcake win floor.

OU Football 2025 - Cheated Its Way To a Backdoor CFP Appearance
We can hope for a close loss against Michigan, blowouts against the cupcakes, and an undeserved/ref-aided squeaker past Auburn before we blow them out. Parlay that humiliating mid-season collapse into an 8-4 finish that includes a promising late-season performance against who cares. Keep BV, rinse and repeat. Or better yet, go 0-12, pay the buyouts, and hire someone who turns out to be worse.

The Almost-Haves will argue strenuously that the greedy Haves are making them play for the mere love of the sport and ruining the good-old game in which a few more schools got to ride on the gravy train of Big College Football. It is what happens when an ag uses AI to celebrate a dumpster fire with face-AIDS after eating day-old nachos that the cat crapped on.- Tell Me About Texas a&m
Apropos of nothing, I can think of about half a dozen people I know, off the top of my head, who went to A&M. Two are successful lawyers (who studied law at UT). Another rose to take over as head of a small private school that is subsequently circling the drain. One got a UT engineering degree and is a successful engineer. Two helpfully and humbly assist me in the OR but are not in my employ. As far as I know, I don't employ any Aggies. Humorously enough, the top undergraduate destination for kids from the dying school: A&M. This concludes my random A&M-related thought of the evening. I see that PFF is not sufficiently objective. Another metric is total QBR. Quinn's numbers here lend credence to the notion that he was good, not great. He was (barely) in the top 50 every year, but only cracked the top 25 once, never making top ten.- Quinn "La Joya" Ewers - The Man The Myth The Mullet, Now Starting for the Miami Dolphins
1. Pointing out flaws isn't necessarily hate; there is such a thing as analysis. 2. QE was a loyal Longhorn. I think (almost, anyways) all of us wish him the best. 3. As stated, all-time QB numbers are biased by changes in the game and in how Texas plays it now. I suspect James Street would look like someone we would never want by many metrics. 4. QE had some great moments, and he looked great overall for entire games, eg Michigan. 5. QE was painful to watch on many self-sacks and apparently inaccurate long balls. He "led" the team with the most draft picks in the country of the last two years to the "not quite" level of championship success on the field. 32 NFL teams agree with Derka on this one. He is a much better QB prospect than I, but not in the top 10 available in this year's draft.- What teams will use NIL to become the "new" top athletic programs in the years to come?
If he leaves the money directly to the AD, that could hamper them in the future in terms of that money's not being available outside the 20 million/yr. I wonder what he will leave in place to ensure "NIL" for athletes beyond what Nike would otherwise pay out in the course of normal business practices.- Justin Tucker
