  1. Oh, and helping the complicit masses ignore and deny their shameful past.
  2. OU is not a pansy, and Tenn hasn't played anybody, but I think the HC dual is an important angle. Heupel may not talk about it, but he owes OU payback. He has had plenty of time to watch a Venables defense from behind the scenes. He has had nothing to keep him from working a little OU prep into every practice since last year. If I were a betting man, I would lay the points.
  3. Maybe the SEC refs will ignore it to protect OU.
  4. Or, how about "Redo" Always apropos of an aggy who's had time to reflect on his choice of school
  5. What are the relative estimated NIL strengths of FSU, UF, and UM? My gut tells me UM is the greater long-term threat nationally based on the city, but you could fill a bookcase with what I don't know about those schools.
  6. Anyone can diagnose afib. If the pulse is even, however fast or slow, it is not afib. If the timing of the beats feels random, it is afib.
  7. A lot of the credit for our success in NIL goes to names you'll see posting here on Surly.
  8. Calendar not kept by a married man
  9. I don't get to look at the books for other practices, so I can't argue about their ownership details. None of our imaging devices is leased.
  10. You are right. I should have said big 3 sports franchise
  11. We are on the short list of great cities in terms of available corporate NIL (largest D1 town without an NFL team), we are in a great city for enjoying life, we are in a talent-rich state, we have a blue-blood pedigree, we play in the SEC, and now we have a coach who has learned under both Carroll and Saban. The coaches will come and go, but the other factors are unlikely to vary too much. Also, good university support these days with CDC at helm. EDIT left off large wealthy alumni base, relatively speaking. Oh, and developing hate complex publicity with horns down nationwide.
  12. I have no ill will anymore for Nebraska. We utterly crushed that program. The names and faces have changed. Now they are the plucky spoiler in the B1G.
  13. Our average MOV this year against teams not defending the NC in their home stadium is just over 50. Covering 42 points against a bad team sounds at least possible.
  14. Practices that cover significant teams typically own an MRI. That study is available when the team doc wants it.
  15. I'm not sure we disagree. I don't see everything perfectly first time watching at normal speed. Sometimes I see things better than the official does. If the standard is perfection in real time, we are unlikely ever to be satisfied. If the standard is honesty and getting it better where replay permits, I think we have room for improvement.
  16. Corrected for silliness of those who ask the question
