  1. Especially since the Secretary of State in almost every important state is a Democrat. GA being the exception and they've already told Trump to fuck off and will again.
  2. Literally everything he touches turns to shit: https://www.cnbc.com/2024/10/22/mcdonalds-shares-fall-after-cdc-says-e-coli-outbreak-linked-to-quarter-pounders.html McDonald’s shares dropped in extended trading Tuesday after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said an E. coli outbreak linked to McDonald’s Quarter Pounder burgers has led to 10 hospitalizations and one death. The agency said 49 cases have been reported in 10 states from Sept. 27 to Oct. 11, with most of the illnesses in Colorado and Nebraska. “Most” sick people reported eating a McDonald’s Quarter Pounder, the CDC added.
  3. In all fairness, Littrell wasn't so hot running his offense, or whatever it was. He was stunningly bad so Venables telling him to run something else makes sense. Littrell seems like those executrives you run across in corporate America who have the education and 20 years work history but still know nothing about what they're doing. The things I've watched with others breaking down the film on OU, they have no idea what OU was even trying to do.
  4. Same. Said it in the other thread. I'll piggy back off James Carville. Harris and the Dems win easily because of the white vote.
  5. Headline vs actual story. The entire media is basically click bait. Headline: Republicans Eat Into Democrats’ Early Voting Advantage Very first paragraph from actual story: Democrats have a clear edge in early voting so far, but Republicans are embracing the practice of casting their ballots before Election Day more than they have in past election cycles, despite former President Donald Trump sending mixed signals on the issue. https://www.wsj.com/politics/elections/early-voting-democrats-republicans-election-2024-f0abda67
  6. From what I understand, a good number of Jews are upset with the BLM crowd. The Jews feel that they were 100% supportive of BLM but now BLM is for Hamas. But to your point, no one is going to give a fuck if that happens again.
  7. Before they do that, Trump will round up Muslims here, put them in actual camps, and then ship them to Gaza. Then Bibi will level the place.
  8. There isn't a data point since Dobbs that suggests this will even be close. This won't be, either. Calling my shot.
  9. Very good place literally across the street from Vandy. Great Italian and great steak: https://amerigo.net/nashville/ Order this:
  10. Two anecdotes: I talked to my 80 year old mother who lives in Oklahoma. She had prolly half of her Southern Baptist Sunday School class is voting Harris but not being public about it because they think Trump is insane. Harris ain't winning Oklahoma, lord knows, but I thought that was funny. My wife (no pics) and her department of all women (no pics) are having a team outing to go vote. They're going to lunch then to vote. It's about 10 women, prolly half R's and half D's. Ages from 25 to 50. All college educated professional types. They're all voting for Harris because they think JD Vance is a sexist fuck face.
  11. In three years, we played well consistently for like a month but OK:
  12. Carville made a really good point the other day. (He's still one of the best, really.) He said that if some of the polls are to be believed (which he doesn't), Trump and the R's are making marginal gains among some minority groups, particularly with men. However, he said that's more than offset by gains for Harris and the D's among the whites, particularly the college educated block. That combined with that poll above might back that up. His final point was that whites make up like 2/3 of the electorate so just a few points either way is much more impactful than even a double digit swing among these other groups, especially factoring in the voting turnout among those respective groups. He predicted 2024 might the Year of the White Vote for the Democrats and that's something he thought he'd never say.
  13. I've watched a few different people break down film of their offense. (Joel Klatt, etc.) They have no earthly idea what they're doing or trying to do. With some things, they've never seen it before. As someone in corporate America, I will tell you it's not odd to find an executive with the education and +20 years experience who has no ides what they're doing. They sometimes don't understand the basics. That seems like OU's offense.
  14. Two podcast hosts literally told them what not to do and they did it anyway.
  15. They're like Aggy who won't stop talking about recruiting even though they keep losing actual games.
  16. I remember Carville saying he wouldn't be surprised if the R's won NV and the D's won NC and that was a a few months ago.
  17. 2025 Draft: Thunder are on the clock
  18. Did not know the recruiting back story but that makes sense. That even further goes to show my point being that talent evaluation and assessment are core functions of the job. They should have been able to stop whatever red flags there were. They still might have offered him anyway but then to let him basically dictate the offensive coaches and scheme is insane. Also, the hiring of Littrell was lazy. They knew Lebby was leaving after he got crossways with the admin over having Art Briles around. Lebby wasn't winning enough to deal with that baggage. That's all fine but then they just promoted a guy with a fairly unimpressive resume. Aside from his stint as a HC at North Texas, he basically has a 15 year resume of unimpressive 1-2 year stints.
