  1. For those saying this is the worst trade in NBA history, let me just leave this here. Clippers didn't even win anything while he was there and got nothing when he left.
  2. Again to be the contrarian, I said this to someone earlier. Does this make either team better? Dallas now just has one ball handler/shot creator and he takes a lot of shots in his own right. Sure, they have a big front line but who there makes shots for them besides Kyrie? On the Lakers, who plays inside for them? They're already not great on defense now they're going to have Reaves and Luka on the floor at the same time?
  3. I'll be the contrarian here. Yes, Luka is great but I wouldn't give him a super max contract based on his history. Dude is barely 25 and regularly misses about 1/4 of every season because of injury. Look at the mess Philly is in with Embid and PG for the same reasons. They're saddled with the both of them for another 4 years. Sure, they should have gotten more for Luka. Neither of these dudes have a history of staying healthy, although AD has done a good job the last two seasons.
  4. As an Okie City fan, I'm kind of bummed by this. This was starting to be genuinely good rivalry where the teams and fan bases didn't like each other. Dallas might be fine this year or next but after that they'll go to complete shit and that's best case scenario. There were good rivalries between Houston, OKC, SA, and Dallas but if Dallas is going to suck, there's no fun in that. Not a chance either of those teams do a straight up deal.
  5. Not anymore. He left for Philly and they got nothing.
  6. Clippers traded away their entire future and multiple all stars for Paul George.
  7. This. Vegas, Seattle, and Nashville would all be good for expansion.
  8. I'm dead serious when I say this.... Within weeks people on the right will be saying it's their patriotic duty to pay higher prices.
  9. The "jab" killed them.
  10. So, right wing twitter so desperately wanted the helicopter pilot to be trans that they outed the wrong person who, BTW, seems like a very qualified helicopter pilot. I like how the anti-DEI crowd is now obsessed with identity politics. https://www.newsweek.com/washington-dc-plane-crash-jo-ellis-trans-helicopter-pilot-wrongly-named-2024149 Ellis is a Chief Warrant Officer and Black Hawk helicopter pilot who has served in the Virginia National Guard for 15 years, according to the news outlet Smerconish.com. She served in combat zones in Iraq, along with other operations overseas. She serves in the military part-time, and also works as an IT engineer in the private sector.
  11. This applies to all of right wing Twitter, actually:
  12. Why are the respective Senators from both Kansas and Virginia even there? They don't know shit about fuck. Last night, they even spoke. (Said nothing, really.) It's like Kennedy in Louisiana holding court after the NO shooting. He knows nothing and has no role in anything.
  13. Well, you see, she's a black woman and America doesn't like a black woman telling them what to do.
  14. And yet they won but they were playing against a lineup of: Drew Eubanks Brice Sensabaugh Micah Potter Collin Sexton Isaiah Collier NBA action, it's fantastic. However, Kyle Flipowski with 10 points off the bench so his groomer wife might be feeling a little better about her investment.
  15. Are we sure this wasn't by design? Maybe he voted for Trump so his wife WOULD be deported. That's a great excuse on the new dating scene. "I'm single because my wife got deported. It's Trump's fault."
  16. Philly beat the Lakers last night without PG or Embid but at least Bronny got to play. Then again, most of Philly's games seem to be without either PG or Embid.
  17. A guy that lived down the street from us who was an avid tri-athlete died in his house from a sudden heart attack. In 2016.
