After watching Hartenstein with OKC now for a few games, I see what the NBA nerds were saying when they signed him. At the time, they said to kind of ignore that stats and how he was much better than they would indicate.
He's almost the perfect addition to them that if they have their core 3, he's #4. More athletic than I thought and an elite passer for the position. Great size and rebounding, which is what they needed. He's at 12.9 rebounds per game, which would be third in the league right now if he had played enough games. His scoring is limited but they have points from everyone else.
They're solid now with just him but mixing him in with Chet will be interesting. They play a lot of different combos but Hart, Chet, JW, SGA, and Dort is a helluva lineup. That will allow Chet to play more on the perimeter and mid range and they could even run Hart passing from the key.
Just a really good addition to them and he's a perfect skill and personality fit there.
