  1. Rodney will never get his life back together and he'd still vote for Trump again. Eat shit, Rodney.
  2. The Netflix show about the Olympic basketball team is a good watch. (The show they had about the five players was awful.)
  3. And he's missed half the games this season and he's not even 26. He also missed about 20 games each of the previous 3 seasons. Best bet is that Lebron rubs off on him but otherwise, how much is he going to playing at 32? I get that AD had the same problems and turns 32 next month. It's a much worse trade for Dallas but there is some risk on the other side.
  4. Yeah, long term LA wins no matter what. For them, it was a long term move anyway. Luka is 25 and they can (hopefully) build around him for 10 years. AD has 2-3 years left, at best.
  5. Meanwhile, Luka is 25 years old and can barely make it through 3 quarters without being out of breath. It's entirely possible that both of these teams lose that trade.
  6. That’s in West Virginia, perhaps the Trumpiest of states. Hardy har har….
  7. Sounds like what I gave your wife the other night.
  8. Mid way through the 3rd and he's already walking up the court out of breath.
  9. If your grandson called his mother "mom" and not "Pam," maybe you'd be better off.
  10. At least the headlights are working.....for now.
  11. Baseball says hi.
  12. Sounds like he's going to just have to pull himself up by his bootstraps. Thoughts and prayers.
  13. I just saw that this was previously posted but it's so good that I don't care and I want it at the top of the page. MOAR!!!!
  14. If they play Denver is a series, the losing teams in the games might have in the 130's.
  15. They're not making a run this year at all. The Luka trade was all about the future and they're set up very well. This current roster is horrible on defense. Like maybe worst in the league or at least among all of the playoff teams. The Williams trade would have helped but they probably dodged a bullet there, to be honest. He's just never healthy for one reason or another.
  16. Right, OKC is probably 1.5 seasons out, but they won't be able to keep the band together, either. Nobody can under this CBA. I think that's the case with every good team. I'm not an expert on the CBA aprons but I do know the days of 3 max guys are over. Stars can still get as much as they were getting before but the max is higher. Long term winning likely means 2 or 3 guys taking below max (still in the $40-$50M range, mind you) and then supplementing them with other players. Will guys forego a max money deal to do that? We'll see. My guess is some will and some won't. You'll still have guys like Dame that take a max deal and then complain they can't win. As for OKC, they'll keep their core 3-4. (Hartenstein might be included in that. He's a perfect mix for them.) SGA will get the most and Jalen and Chet will get a little less. I can definitely see SGA taking less to keep better players. All that dude cares about is basketball and winning to the point he's boring. I could never see him schlepping away on some 40 win team just for more money. Past those 4, they have a really good and young roster on some very team favorable contracts. They'll likely keep a few of them but they're all great trade assets combined with the 95 draft picks they have in the next few years. My guess is they trade most of those guys at some point and eventually replace everyone with high draft picks. They young player they have with the biggest upside is probably Cason Wallace. Dude is a legit elite wing defender, defends 3 positions, good but still improving shooter. He'll never get the points on this OKC team but he could easily be a borderline All Star on a lesser team. It'll be interesting to see what they do with him.
  17. They weren't really established, though. It'll be a good case study in a company that kind of got lucky with good timing on a consumer trend. Western wear is in style every 10-15 years or so and they got the timing right.
