The Okie City coach should list the entire roster as "questionable" because of "flu symptoms"
NBA guys are some of the biggest bitches out there. If a star NFL player did what Murray did yesterday, he'd be mocked around the league. These are also the guys who fake fight.
I'll believe Gordon is really injured when I see him limping around on Sunday afternoon.
Oh for fuck's sake. It's something every single game with that team. Porter has a giant sling on his should and supposedly can't lift his arm except when he's on offense.
I fully expect Gordon to play and be fine.
Oh, the drama. It's like they're all Willis Reed cosplay or some shit.
Supposedly he was open to it but the team wasn't. They thought he'd disrupt the chemistry of a young team and they're right. Durant has some downsides at this point in his career but scoring isn't one of them.
As for Jalen Williams, that's a tough decision. He didn't have a good playoffs last year but that was his first one. This year has been a repeat. If it happens for a third time, then that's what you are and his trade value starts to take a hit. He's a legitimately good all around player. He can do everything on offense and might be one of the most versatile players in the league on defense. They can easily have that with him for another 10 years but will that get them a title? Working with a Durant swap, that's trading a decade of really good for one title.
I don't think they'd do it but I promise you that both teams would take the call. Phoenix gets a good pairing with Booker, Jalen likely gets more money there than he would with OKC, Phoenix gets some draft picks, and they just ride out the Beal contract. OKC gets Durant along with Chet and Shai.
OKC will likely asses his value in the off season if they lose. He's an All Star but if he comes back next year and shits the bed in the playoffs (again) then his value is significantly downgraded.
Really, they could get Durant on the cheap at this point. Offer up Jalen for KD and a random draft pick. PHX might take it.
Jalen Williams offering up a bloody wet tampon of a game (again). If OKC is going to win, Shai is going to have to take over. He managed the 3rd quarter with no fouls so there's that.
That's not the reason. The reason is the NBA wants to give the Warriors every advantage it can. The first round schedule was ridiculous. Here's hoping they lose tonight. I like Steph but I hate the favoritism they get from the league.
OKC is Shai and a bunch of B level guys who can't hit big shots in the moment.
Denver is Jokic and a bunch of B level guys who can hit shots in the moment.
Denver hitting every shot they need and OKC fucking up every possessing they need.
OKC gets it close and Denver goes on a 9-0 run.
Dort is completely terrible and a liability but they keep playing him.
This is the right answer. Trading the future for Giannis and his $178M right now is basically ceding Wemby away in five years because the team is middling.
If Harper is good, that's a solid core.
Yeah, I don't understand that apron thing at all but I do know it makes it basically impossible to have a good team 3 max guys. You're almost better off with 1 A lister, 2-3 B listers, and then a bunch of B-/C+ guys. Otherwise, it's 3 A listers and a bunch of G League guys.
