2025 NBA Draft - Gag for Flagg
The problem is the timeline of the Dallas roster. Irving and AD are 33 and 32 respectively and Irving likely won't play until 26/27 when he'll be 35. With AD, this is Anthony Davis we're talking about so who knows how much longer he'll hang on? By the time Flagg enters his peak phase in 3-4 years, Irving and Davis will be long gone. Contrarian take here but Dallas should trade AD for young assets and draft picks. Not sure what to do with Irving.

You left out Susan's Sarandon's fantastic tits even at 78. Good Lord.

That sucks major ass. With a tear, he's out next season too, right?

Yeah, what happened? I left for a minute or two and came back and they were carting him off like it was an achilles tear.

Clippers 2027.

2025 NBA Draft - Gag for Flagg
OKC has a shit load of picks from bad teams in the future. The thing is, OKC might not want to be in the Giannis business at $175M over the next 3 years.

He'd be stupid to do that but he prolly doesn't have a choice. The thing about OKC, they could do this and more if for no other reason to keep Giannis away from SA or Houston.

Kyrie is likely out all of next season and this is Anthony Davis we're talking about.

2025 NBA Draft - Gag for Flagg
I had wondered that. Kyrie isn't supposed to be back next year and even if he does come back, it'll be late. AD will miss time like clockwork and with his and Kyrie's ages and injury histories, you have to wonder how much time they really have left. I suspect if OKC does't win a title this year or next, they'll be all over that 26 draft. I don't think they make a move this year regardless of what happens.

The power imbalance between the East and West is already bad and now it's insane. The Texas teams and OKC are all better than any team in the East over the next few years. Minny and Denver aren't in terrible spots, either. Lakers are quite a way back.

Flagg dodged a bullet not going to Washington, Charlotte, or Philly quite frankly.

He was actually torn on that. He wanted it for the fans.

Funny thing is Philly can't do much with him with those two millstone contracts they have for the next three years.

We could conceivably have an OKC/Indianapolis Finals. That would be an unmitigated ratings disaster.

Utah is the only team with a high chance that isn't a complete dumpster fire year over year. Watch him go to Washington or Charlotte.

Jokic is a fucking load and only OKC has the personnel to deal with him. It's a testament to Denver's roster how good he is. Murray and Gordon are good but that's about it. OKC is throwing two bigs out there with some help and that's derailing him. If not for Gordon hitting some late game shots, this series is a sweep. What's surprising is how bad OKC's offense is in the playoffs.

NBA 2024-25 Playoff Thread
The OKC/Denver game today was huge. Based on what is going on with the other series, whoever wins this series is likely winning the whole thing. Had OKC lost, they're not coming back. They're not winning 3 straight. Now it's a 3 game series with 2 games in Oklahoma City. Advantage Okies. East might be Indy/Knicks. West might be Minny vs OKC/Denver. OKC/Denver wins all of those.

I haven't really watched Flagg but my question is his real height with metrics. He's listed at 6'9" so he's probably really 6'7". At that height, is he athletic enough to guard other elite wings? I don't know. Also, at that height, is at least a really good shooter? Again, don't know. Flagg is not Wemby.

OKC deserves some credit for their defense. As much as the coaches and players have shit the bed on offense, the adjustments they've made on Jokic have been top tier. He dominated in Game 1 but in the three games since then, he's really having to work and he's just not getting his usual numbers. They're running a constant two big lineup and getting help from Caruso or whoever.

Jalen is a legitimately good all around player. Three level scorer and can guard 4 positions. He's just shit the best the last two years in the playoffs. If you're Utah, you'd have Lauri plus the Thunder package. Without that, you'd just have Lauri and Flagg.
