  1. Along with moving out to the "country," flag obsession seems to be another old white guy thing that I don't have or don't understand. That being said, if someone on my street did the flag fuckery that Alito does, that would be embarrassing here. He's a SC justice, for god's sake.
  2. You might be only half joking but we thought the same thing. (Watched it last night.) With the slow witted old guy and idiot "reporter" that showed up in Newton DEMANDING to know the truth, why didn't some just kick one of their asses. Just some random citizen. These people are bullies because they know the people won't fuck back with them but just let someone with a screw lose curb stomp them. Not a jury in the world that would convict.
  3. Why? I'm just saying what I heard on a podcast and yes, that's Shai's team and yes, Durant will bitch about something within a year or two because he's done that everywhere he's been. It's like saying Kawhi is going to have a mysterious injury.
  4. Fan of three different schools. OU, Texas, and Arky. The three are for a whole list of reasons. Why?
  5. He's like a rich guy in a bad marriage and with no prenup.
  6. That's my thinking, too, and prolly why OKC takes a pass. That's a really young team and it's SGA's team at that. Durant might say all the right things at first and he might even like not having to be the leader but by the spring, we'll be hearing that he's not happy with the offense or the coaching or something.
  7. Right wing Twitter is such a weird place. It's obvious that Fox kind of kept a lid on Tucker and besides the scenes he's weird himself.
  8. Was listening to a Thunder podcast and they suggested that there was interest from Durant to come back for various reasons but not much interest from the team. (These guys are from the Athletic and have been covering the team for 15 years. They're not some random Twitter feed but take it for what it's worth.) OKC and Presti are notoriously secretive so no one knows if they'd be interested or not. It makes sense for all parties except that Phoenix will want too much. OKC won't touch their core three and a package of Giddey, Cason Wallace, and some draft picks might not be enough. Phoenix is in a tough spot. Durant doesn't have as much trade value as they think. They could build around Booker again, I guess, but they're going to have to suck Beal's contract. An interesting rumor, I thought.....
  9. I guess put this here? Remember the woman on the flight out of DFW who saw invisible aliens or something and got thrown off the plane? Well, she's a MAGA/patriot/warrior grifting influencer now because of course she is:
  10. Why are these women folk so angry with the world the men have so blessedly built for them? Blessed be the fruit.
  11. Just what we needed. A man to tell us why women are angry:
  12. Watched the whole thing yesterday. Better than I thought. I thought it was common knowledge that the site was like 99.9% dudes but I guess not. Some of those guys definitely had a "life changing" affair.....
  13. Despite what you'll see on the Dallas thread, the officiating has been horrible this entire series. Next level horbiel.
  14. Solid humble brag. Well done, sir.
  15. I'll take up for little Okie City. No city in the country has done more to improve itself over the last 30 years than OKC. After the bombing, they wanted to be known for something else and time and time again, the voters have approved tax and spending programs for public works and spaces and almost 100% of people agree the city is better off for it to the point that 70% of the people voted to spend $1B on a new arena. ($1B is a LOT for an arena in OKC and you can't get 70% of people to agree on anything.) They even made #86 on some list about the world's best food cities. Even the city leaders were like "How the fuck did that happen?" Meanwhile, the rest of the state be like "BIG GOVERNMENT SPENDING!!!!!"
  16. That’s weird. That’s not really an “Epoch Times” sort of neighborhood. Maybe it’s owned by some rich O&G type. OKC might as well be a completely different city now vs 2006.
  17. What part of OKC are you in? I’d oddly interested in OKC. Central OKC is oddly blue/purple but it’s in the state of Oklahoma, which means when you get to the cow pasture suburbs, you run into MAGA fuckery. (Texas cities are the same.) The I’ve Had It podcast women are from OKC and they’re solidly liberal.
  18. I remember his op-ed in the WSJ about taking free trips was like it was written by a 10th grader.
  19. I think we can all agree that the most important thing here is that the officer made it home safe.
