  1. Fuck, Vandy. They were right there.....
  2. Looks like friends and family so they probably know them all already.
  3. 54 year old Kid Rock:
  4. Yeah, no phones for Gen X, thank the good lord. You don't want pics of her now. She was good back then, though. 5'10" (played ball in HS), 150 lbs,. decent face, 36C, long legs. Basically just hooked up with whichever one of us was down. Plus she was doing other guys. Then became a MAGA Christian Patriot Elementary music teacher. Did not age well, either.
  5. A girl that my college best friend and took turns during our sophomore year is now super MAGA churchy and a school teacher. Lulz. Gen X turned out to be such a disappointment
  6. Note that he didn't dispute it:
  7. Cover of the book:
  8. NYT pitchbot couldn't do it any better. Well done, sir. Well done.
  9. Paul Finebaum?
  10. That's the impression I got. I'd try to muddle through something in French and they'd start speaking English. After a day or so, I'd just speak English and everyone seemed fine with that.
  11. This looks significantly better than the last one:
  12. I took two years, too, but that was a long time ago and I haven't used it much since. I can still kind of piece it together if I'm reading it but that's about it. I was surprised at the extent of English while there, though. The French didn't seem bothered by it at all and from what I understand, they used to be. Is that accurate?
  13. Agreed. I didn't realize how big the Louvre was. A single wing is basically an entire museum by itself. Question for you. You've been to France a lot. How much French do you know?
  14. Yeah, my wife (no pics) was telling me that. (She's a full nerd about this. MARCH in historic preservation from UT.) "700 years of smoke from candles leaves its mark." I never saw it before but she did and she said that was the main difference. I just googled this:
  15. DFW is also twice the size of all of Oklahoma but yes, Dallas is one of the moneyed cities in America. When I say Dallas, I mean real Dallas not fucking McKinney or Denton or some shit.
  16. Arkansas is a smallish and poor fan base but the net worth of five families tied to them rivals the GDP of some small countries. (Waltons, Jerry, Tyson, Hunt, and Stephens.) None of them have ever cared about football except Jerry and I learned yesterday that he can't be involved in NIL because he's an NFL owner. That being said, there are a lot of Waltons to your point. They're into G3 at this point with them being in their 30's and 40's. If the new AD and coach went dialing for dollars, all it would take is one. However, not one of them have any ties to Arky, believe it or not. They support the school but could give two fucks about the sports teams. However, to someone else's point, Larry Ellison started bankrolling Michigan because his new wife that no one knew he had.
  17. Completely agree on Notre Dame. Liked it more than the Vatican, actually. I knew the back story because the wife (no pics) has a background in historic architecture and can go full nerd on Notre Dame. To see it, though, was much breathtaking. It predates America by like 500 years and is still a functioning church to this day, despite the fire. While we were there, they were having mass, which made it even better. I took 200 years to build but with the intention that literally a thousand years later, it would still be a church and a monument to god and it very well may last that long:
  18. This and he was almost broke before he made it. He's worth over $400M and almost all of that came from Passion of the Christ.
