  1. Vegas really needs that vandy +3.5….jesus
  2. Overhead view from inside the field of play….
  3. Arch sitting a game for a non-serious injury is what he needs right now (and should have got a long time ago). Gets a chance to unscramble his brain and look at someone else operate the offense in a game situation. I think Caldwell gets us the win next week and Arch gets right in the process.
  4. The QB position is a force multiplier for the entire team and, at this point, his multiplier is <1. Bad performance from your leadership drags the whole team down You might tell the media you have “the utmost confidence) in QB1, but how many times are you going to put your body on the line to get let down over and over again? It’s human nature. Then you look at a guy like Pavia and his guys are running through a brick wall for him and his coach The offense is going to take off when arch unfucks himself and starts being able to do basic high school QB shit and punish Ds for selling out to abuse him. Until then, expect to see heavy boxes and blitz I don’t think we get out of this spiral this season with this schedule but it’s always tantalizingly close
  5. If there are guys open on (most) every play, passing scheme by Sark is not the problem. But when you get your pick of elite QBs and none of them can hit guys the way you draw it up, that's also on Sark Issue is with execution, assignments, discipline I think CEO Sark (ie program building, talent acquisition, culture, messaging) is so much more developed than Sark the Coach. We are consistently ridiculously penalized and assignment un-sound despite retaining the entire coaching staff year after year The team takes after the head coach and all this soft ass messaging bleeds over into how you hold your team accountable and coddle the QB position. Hearing "we'll get em next time" >>> "do your job" because I just don't think he's good at coaching guys HOW to do their job
  6. It seems clear that Sark values winning his way and with his vision of what he wants his team to look like rather than win at all costs I think it bleeds into the red zone calls trying to reinforce the idea that we are a physical team when there are higher percentage plays out there There’s obviously value in building an identity in “you get what you empasize” but when you are so firmly tied into this “we don’t want to major in this or that” bullshit it shows when you consistently can’t adjust and change the aesthetic of your offense. Just swallow your pride, change your fucking major, and embrace the power QB run etc if it lets you win more games
  7. OSU going to be in VERY deep trouble if they are down more than 1 score at any point in the 3rd/4th quarter and we have run game going Hard to see Sayin having success in “must throw” passing situations with our ability to get to the QB rushing four IMO this is going to be the formula this year… Aggressive early to get a lead. Pound the rock + play action. Defense doesn’t allow the opposing offense to play from behind with waves of pass rush
  8. The way the TX and tOSU game turned out couldn't have psychologically benefited us more IMO Unit wise, every aspect of the offense and defense got challenged by an inferior opponent. tOSU comes in moderately heavy favorites after demolishing Oregon in a revenge game. The coaching points are going to be very different over the next 8 days. MASSIVE confidence boost for Quinn. Feels like a turning point. He knows he can spin it in the most important moments. Complacency from Howard and Smith setting in? Run game got physically demolished by UGA in both games and run game blew up in the games following. Hoping for the same vs talented tOSU front Defense top to bottom has carried this team all year. Howard + WR magic going to run out at some point and may as well be against us. (Wish I could say that I feel good about Bert but ran out of sunshine) Feels like tOSU poised for a letdown and we are playing for each other. Just feels like this team is special and going to surprise us on Friday. In the Cotton Bowl of all places
  9. What an absolute mind-fuck of a QB experience. Looks totally helpless for long stretches then LETS HIS MOTHERFUCKING NUTS HANG
  10. Sark edging himself keeping Arch on the bench
  11. far more satisfying watching the defense than offense tbh
  12. Just a horrendous press conference and clearly a massive douche of a coach. Relentlessly shitting on his team, "can't cover the forward pass", calling out individuals, thinly veiled apologies, GI distress Loved it
  13. Quinn looks much better than I remember when rolling out. Minimizes the pressure up the middle in his face, less tipped balls, cuts the field in half for him, can get rid of it without throwing into triple coverage. That throw rolling left to Golden was pretty Overall I'm feeling more optimistic about this team in the playoff. Have a higher ceiling than Oregon, OSU, and UGA just bc we're leaving so much meat on the bone on offense. Sark with 2 wks and some time to re-evaluate is going to come up with something
  14. This exactly He doesn't have a discernible skill set beyond quick slants and horizontal passing which is hard to scheme around. Rarely gives more than in expected of him which sticks out like a sore thumb on a team full of leaders and absolute dogs trying to win a championship.
