If he hadn't kept leaving all those needy messages on George Lucas' answering machine...

Dang, the seats in the FEC (drum) are full in all those video clips. It's been years since I've seen anything but empty seats.
Must be CGI. Derka negged me once for disagreeing with him that that Rick Barnes was the only coach to ever pack the Drum.

Funny how The Mandalorian is the first Star Wars production since A New Hope to feature characters that have never been seen before.

I barely know him, but a friend listed low pay, heat, traffic and taxes as the primary drivers.
That's a pretty safe bet.

Well, that was all kinds of bad ass.

I hit the deej location on north lamar today around 230. no line and got the sandwich when I got my change. but it wasn’t fresh. tasted like it had been sitting out for a while.
That's because it came out of the same pile that was there at 12:15, when I was there. Nobody was ordering them. Back to 3 piece boxes for the regulars.

I got this thing today. It's bigger than I thought it would be (have fun with that).
This is my first tube amp, and I'm freaking impressed so take that for what it's worth. In reading the reviews, I pre-ordered some JJ tubes to replace the stock tubes. I don't think my ears will know the difference for a while. I'm going to hold off on changing them.
My only disappointment is with Musician's Friend. It was an open box model and they used some really shitty tape to attach a tag along the top of the left side. I tried to remove it with an alcohol swab and that shit will not let up. It is still stuck to my hands. I don't want to use goo gone because I'm afraid it might damage it. Also, there was a random screw in the box that I'm going to have to figure out.
It's damn loud. I'm going to have some fun with this thing when my husband is in his deer blind.
6V6's? The JJ's are pretty bulletproof, but the Tung Sol's are much more musical, IMO.

Prediction, which one of out three major men's sports will crack a .550 winning percentage this academic year? I think football goes 7-6. I think basketball probably makes a run at 18-16, with a combo of 3 post-season games (1-2 in conference tourney and/or 1-2 in NIT/CBI/CIT), for an overall ~.530 or so. I think baseball has probably the best chance given a somewhat down year in the Big XII and a respectable, but not overwhelming non-conf. schedule. We could sniff .600 there given our pitching.
But yeah, our 3 major revenue sports will likely combine this year to maybe hint around .540 as an overall sports program. Sure we'll place high in those director's cup things because of so many other successful olympic sports...but our Big 3 are gonna be a fucking out and out embarrassment this year.

Me and my twins ordered one of each so we could compare, wife was the only non-fatty, she had spicy but only ate the yard bird. She always gives her bread to one of the twins.
our consensus was the spicy was the winner but both were damn good. Lot more meat compared to CFA, and the breading is crispy. The pickles are better on the Popeyes sandwich too.
Crushes the homophobe chicken sandwich.

When I eventually make it over there to try it I'm gonna order the spicy one with no mayo just to see if their heads explode.
You gonna get shot.

Texans shouldn't drop more than 2 over those 5 and should have a chance at 4-1 while 3-2 would be a pretty optimal result for Indy.
That's cute you have such faith

This whole process has Disney has been pretty amazing when you think about it. They put some lady who wasn’t a fan of Star Wars in charge of the franchise. They made a multi billion dollar value trilogy + ancillary movies without any kind of overarching plan for how they would fit together. They hired some guy who wasn’t a fan of Star Wars to write and direct the 2nd movie himself, just whatever he wanted.
This is the same studio that did the opposite of all of that with the Marvel franchise and saw firsthand how well it worked.
They are really lucky George Lucas set the bar so low with the prequel trilogy.
It's like they took a cue from Bellmont Hall.
