Fair enough. I just remember things like all the hype about the superconducting material or you know all their economic data.
From what I can gather, the worst case for US is they made some novel improvements in how these models are built and set up, while piggybacking off our existing structures and models and vastly understating how much time, money and hardware it cost to do so in order to cause a shock.
Is it open source? If so, should be easy to pull the reverse China and steal their novel improvements and ramp them up further.

As for Twitter, old habits die hard. It's still the fastest place to get wide variety of news. Still the best populated as well. For example, I searched and didn't see this Gavin Baker fellow on bluesky. Now he's a twitter follow for me. It's still quite useful. I guess not everyone has stopped using it?
