Honestly, Reddit dying would be a good thing. The upvote/downvote system and the rankings of the comments by then turns everything into a binary of right / wrong and can promote misinformation so easily.
The message board system like Surly is a lot better for discussion.
I see ADX Florence is clearing room. Wonder who it is for?
His manifesto is pretty crazy in that it lies on the line between insanity and familiar thoughts.
Well, guess it’s all coming down to Game 7. Seattle has done a much better job both of the last two games with possession and shots, so let’s hope the Stars wake up for the last game.
As someone who has had the joy of riding in an armed convoy in Africa, that’s a brutal distance to travel. Seems like a complete nightmare on all accounts.
If it was a concussion or head related injury, I could see it, but plenty of other sports have had cardiac issues (Peverley with the Stars, Eriksen and Nouri in soccer, etc).
But none of this matters - him pulling through is bigger than this game or any playoff implication.
This will supplant the Herschel Walker trade as the biggest debacle in NFL history. The draft picks are one thing, but they're in salary cap hell with no easy way out.
The think about the Walker trade is that it set the Cowboys up for a decade with multiple HOF players. I doubt that’ll happen for the Seahawks.
Also, Hackett is really pushing Meyer for the worst NFL coach of all time. The team has quit as the offense can’t find a single thing that they do well. That’s the same with both QBs. Other coaches have been able to elevate much worse talent (eg Daboll).
Denver woke up frigid (-14 to -24 F), but it didn’t feel too bad with the right layers. Our poor dogs though can barely survive the cold trying to go to the bathroom.
