  1. Terry Joseph gave a decent interview on LHN discussing how the class will allow the playbook to be opened up a bit more. Doesn’t seem like he or PK will be gone after this season.
  2. It’s amusing to me that TAMU is literally buying a class of 5 stars, yet national blowhards like Rovell are wailing the death of CFB due to the latest NIL program from Texas.
  3. Evans was always looking for reasons to not come to Texas, but he couldn’t have picked a worse offense for his choice.
  4. By far the best option for us. LSU doesn’t get a great offensive coach, and OU is forced to make a tough choice in a brutal market. hope he takes the OL coach as well.
  5. Kind of amazing Gary can announce this game with Bama’s dick down his throat.
  6. While it would be nice, there’s no more automatic victory like OU over OSU. It’s so one sided that it is hard to argue that it is actually a rivalry.
  7. The thing I noticed with him against Texas both years is that he wasn't able to identify the open player and make the pass quite a few times. Even this year, there was a few times where the TE / IWR came open due to the play design, and he didn't look that way. Given how we are pretty annoyed with our current QBs for the same issue, doesn't seem like Rattler would be the best option to target.
  8. Know this is rich considering we just lost to Kansas, but their schedule alone has the floor at 7 wins every season with joke of OOC games and Mizzou+SCar.
  9. I'm kind of in this camp. Right now, nothing matters. Sark is going to get another year, and this staff is more than likely going to get another year. While we've had some awful, awful coaching, one really does have to wonder how we become the graveyard for coaches and for players. I don't think there's a single program in America which hires more up and coming or top of the mountain coaches and sees them fails. The laundry list is long at nearly every single position. As for recruiting, what's the point? It's clear that we are not going to get the 5-Star players that actually make a difference as seen by our recruiting, and the players we do get are incredibly disappointing. At this point, who gives a shit if it is a 4 star that will inevitably peak as a freshmen or a 3 star that does an okay to below average job for us. College football is a sport that takes time to change, even with the changes to the portal. Right now, we are in for the ride for a few more years. Might as well save the buyout money and see if these coaches can actually do something as it would be a waste to fire PK, hire someone else installing a new scheme for god knows how many consecutive years, only to fire him next year when the staff inevitably leaves. This really is the lowest point of Texas football I've lived through. I honestly would welcome a death penalty for a few years than the laughing stock performances we get week in and week out.
  10. The problem with a bad coach in CFB is you know it’s not a problem for just a year but years. At this point, I’m thinking it’s going to be another decade until we do anything of note.
  11. Unless Wikipedia is lying, Herman was 4-4 in his first season.
  12. And his pinned tweet is still his commitment to OSU.
  13. Her name was Holly, right? That really, really sucks. We would go there and Burrito Factory all the time, and she always remembered each of our orders, even when I hadn't gone in a few years.
  14. Saying the young talent is getting better while starting 0-2 against maybe the second and fifth best team in the division is baffling with how they claimed this was the year. Not that the rest of it isn't, but this paragraph is completely full of shit. If you are TAMU, you damn well better be concerned how LSU and Texas does as they are much easier to sell to recruits.
  15. The real question is whether he beats Bobby Petrino's timeline in the NFL. If he loses to Miami in two weeks, he's looking at starting 0-8.
  16. Vinovich definitely has one of the worst crews in the league. Don’t know how they continue to let him get these big games.
  17. Mizzou's run defense is absolutely atrocious, allowing >5 YPC against Kentucky and Boston College. TAMU will barely have to pass on them.
  18. Not saying there isn't a drop off, but King has a 10% INT rate. Small sample size, etc. but that's horrendous. Both QBs struggling either indicates that they are not that good or that the scheme is way too complex.
  19. Auburn still being ranked is a clear sign that people don't actually watch the games.
  20. It was a great call as they were still in their nickel defense. Bad play call though, especially with that QB
  21. We switched to having more vegetarian meals during the week and only really eating meat when going out or for special occasions. The meals do tend to result in being more hungry after, though. Also bought electric lawncare equipment. It's actually worked a lot better than expected and charging is typically a breeze.
  22. Reddit taking Aggy throwing a hissy fit as a sign that UT might be screwed is perfection. I honestly don’t know if the delusion is worse there or at TexAgs.
