  1. They aren't going to call holding there? jfc, Big XII refs really are against us
  2. It's amazing that "good defense" against us is an automatic flag against us. That defensive holding on the pass is exhibit A of it.
  3. Mitchell is such a bad LB. Fuck you Orlando for us having to start him.
  4. I agree. It should be easy to hide while The Bachelorette switches from Clare to Tayshia.
  5. On the flip side of this, we are in a position where Urban is actually reachable due to being pushed out of OSU. It's somewhat of a Faustian bargain, but if he signals he would be okay with coaching here, I can't imagine that there won't be some boosters that actually push for it. If Herman was actually a decent person, it would be fine, but he's seemingly a prick to everyone.
  6. I don't blame them. The way this team has played the past three weeks has been as bad as any Strong coached team.
  7. The QB is always going to take more heat than the LG, RB, and P, especially with a multiple interception day. Whether or not it is fair is another thing.
  8. Doesn't matter when he's fired. However, behind the scenes, we absolutely need to be talking to Meyer and figuring out what the number is to get him plus whatever staff he wants.
  9. After the past decade, I think we all know it doesn't matter what recruit we get. The coaching isn't going to be good enough under late era Mack, Charlie, or the thief.
  10. I like Sam. He loves this university like we all do and does give a shit. However, the way he's playing this year is how he always is and always will be. He is extremely streaky on drives, with them either looking incredible or wtf moments. He's not a player to win a NC or Heisman, but he's certainly a good player and the best QB we've had since Colt. However, this coaching staff is the one that is wasting him. A player like Sam should win at least one Big XII championship. With that fucking thief Herman, we've wasted all four opportunities for him.
  11. There's no way that Herman survives this, right? 1-4 against OU, has a senior laden team that he recruited. This will tell what do the higher ups actually think about football. If they don't fire him this year, we know that football will never really be back as two bad recruiting classes (this year + transition) will give the next coach little to work with.
  12. He is who he always has been. Very streaky QB with moments that make you ponder how is he a starter and moments that you remember why he is.
  13. Sam's ball placement is really disappointing for senior.
  14. Ingram should be benched and honestly shifted to 3rd string. He’s not reliable at the thing that matters most as a RB.
  15. Let's take a page out of the Brits and put Meyer and CDC down for a round of golf at the UT golf course.
  16. Matt Leinart went on the Ryen Rusillo show and talked about whether he thought Urban would take another job (starts ~ 37:30) https://open.spotify.com/episode/3fOMbd8lGA6Y2sqAWt19tZ He doesn't think he is going to go back to coaching based on his conversations with him, but the reasons seem a bit shakey for a college coach (loves spending time with family, cyst, good vibes with the Fox crew).
  17. He's been shakey for awhile after his girlfriend went to OU on a softball scholarship Still, the recruiting is faltering, so hopefully this is a wake-up call to not give Mensa even more rope to hang the program with
  18. National media in general are ripping us to shreds. Bruce Feldman yesterday clearly wanted to say Herman was a fraud during his Sunday recap show but just instead talked about how Texas isn't there. The podcast Athlon puts out pretty much laid out the case for why Herman should be fired by essentially saying Herman's given a filet mignon and delivering a well-done, burnt steak. If we lose on Saturday, I'd imagine every podcast will have their "Texas isn't back, Herman isn't it" segment and just forget about us for the rest of the season.
  19. I wish someone would directly ask him about the same playcalls versus ISU and TCU. That is directly on him as it's under two different OCs.
  20. Campbell is way too low imo. He's done a great job developing talent at ISU and fielding some great defenses. He does have a few bonehead games here and there, but he does fantastic at punching above his weight. Should be above both Kleinman and Brown.
  21. Pretty sure our fanbase would actually answer our "super duper final alumni verification" if it meant we were getting rid of Herman.
  22. To back up your first observation, we have the most losses to unranked teams as a ranked team, so yup.
  23. We are also 2-12 when trailing at the half under Herman.
  24. We gave him his best game last year, and after the game against Tech, hard to think that it won't be a repeat.
  25. I enjoy how UTEP throttled ULM on the road (outgained them by 300 yards, held them to 0-11 on 3rd down whereas went 11-17 on 3rd down, TO margin was equal), and the model didn't move them up (still bottom of the teams currently playing behind ULM). "It's a predictive model", blah, blah, but that's really surprising, especially in a part of the rankings where you would expect to see a bit more movement.
