  1. Again, there's a difference between barely grazing the facemask without a twist and a helmet to helmet hit before the ball gets there on a WR. It's nowhere near in the same league as a bad call.
  2. Gee, what's a bigger call? A graze against the facemask with no twist or a helmet to helmet PI before the ball gets there?
  3. Gee, I wonder why. This is why I despise teams from LA. All the fucking calls because it's Hollywood, when it's the fakest fucking city in the world.
  4. Biggest screwjob in NFL history. That ref should be immediately fired.
  5. Fuck LA and the NFL. That was the worst call I’ve ever seen as it was a double penalty (helmet to helmet and PI). Saints better go for a TD here if they get to the red zone as the refs are clearly going to help the Rams.
  6. It’s still a faulty argument. I drove from Austin to El Paso frequently, and when you add up all the maintenance, gas, etc, it’s pretty much cheaper to fly. That’s not even getting into how much time you’ll actually have there. Flights from Austin to LA aren’t expensive either, and to be frank, no P5 QB player is going to worry about money to fly home. Utah makes sense more due to playing games in Southern California much more frequently, but it’s still quite a trek to LA.
  7. How many of these players will realistically be here with Luka in a few years? Matthews is more than likely gone, Barnes should be gone unless he accepts a contract that's way below what he's making and DJ doesn't give a big enough shit to pay $20m to.
  8. At a certain point, this has to hurt their recruiting at QB, right?
  9. That's essentially what happened to Big Bend, unfortunately. They aimed to get into Austin, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio instead of focusing on being the beer from Far West Texas by building the second location in San Antonio, and when their equipment company went under, so did they. Craft breweries are in a really interesting spot. Being in Denver (and Austin), it felt like there were way, way so many that all serve the same old IPA and stouts. However, when you're in a city where they aren't that big (El Paso - Dead Beach is great, but the market is nowhere as near saturated as the rest of Texas), it does make the whole city feel lacking.
  10. Saints need to play a lot better out of the gates and offensively to have any chance. Some of it was the Eagles, but they definitely struggled the second half of the year. Also, if we have another four-Peat of penalties, it probably won't be a game. Still think the Rams are somewhat vulnerable though. Gurley is more banged up than "cardio" would lead one to believe, and that defense can be gotten at as their LBs aren't as good as the Eagles.
  11. Every time Rivers throws it deep, it looks like he's just sending up a prayer.
  12. Kind of funny that Gronk can push off and extend the arm, but the DB isn't really allowed to do anything in that situation.
  13. If you had any question about whether the NFL is making sure LA wins, that call has to seal it
  14. Does that happen before or after the U of A wiretap gets released?
  15. One of the best parts of this is the amount of shit that SEC folks talked about how undeserving ND was and how UGA deserved to be there. UGA got whooped and Bama lost by more than ND to Clemson.
  16. Note to ESPN. Declaring a team the best of all time before the National Championship is a surefire way for them to lose in the championship game.
  17. Warehime and Meringher are prime candidates to be relocated.
  18. Fitting ending considering Lamar’s play. He really needs to get better in the pocket or else he won’t last.
  19. Doesn’t look like a TD when the elbow is down
  20. https://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2019/1/2/18164947/texas-georgia-sugar-bowl-2019 He’s still not very high on us.
  21. Wow, what a bad call by the refs there. They didn’t sub
